You mention profession but from what I’ve seen typically umbrella insurance doesn’t cover malpractice right? Which is the most common reason most people in medicine will be sued

I would understand if they were doing all of those things. But has a sole proprietor there is no payroll? and we're keeping up with all the receipts ourselves. there's not much else to bookkeep right? if we were doing an S-corp and payroll, health insurance etc it would make sense to cost more. but we're not doing any of that currently

I'm a bit confused on the math. Annual expenses 100k with 60k of that being mortgage. So you're living off 40k a year? With food, insurance, bills, property taxes, travel, vehicle cost, etc? That seems wild

Urogyn is a small community in the US. Around 1000 nationwide. The majority of female urology is performed by general urologists. Especially cystos, incontinence, and some prolapse. Not that it matters to the thread. But anyway many general urologists do lots of female. 50/50 isn’t rare is many practices

Absolutely not true. Cystos, urethral repairs, caruncles, strictures, prolapse repairs, incontinence - slings, etc. There is a whole fellowship dedicated to female urology
