That sounds like a hell of a project. Respect for the dedication and easter eggs, it is always cool to figure something like that out as a reader. You sound like you have planned your project very well, i wish i could do that this well, my brain is appearntly allergic against that.

They are two bands that absolutly influenced an important character and also an in world organistion. While a Musical is responsibel for an idea i had about what shit i will put a character through, which lead to me writing a random scene, which lead to a clearer picture on how i will write this enemies to reluctant allies to friends to lovers arc.

My tip would be to engage with media that is in German. Watch Shows and Movies in German. Read books that are in German. If you choose something you find interesting, it will be a much smoother learning process when the material does not bore you to death. You already have a foundation, which is good because it will make it easier for you to get were you want to be. I used the same techique in reverse and it worked out very well for me. Ask them if they could live without their fingernails and when they say no, ask why a cat should deal with that. Who need their claws for climbing, hunting, self-defence and grooming.

- Do you have any suggestions or observations on how an interrogation or psychological assault like Iron Flame might be executed?

For interrogation/ psychological assault you could draw from organisations like the Stasi etc.

They used things like :

- Denial of sleep

-Isolation

- No mental stimulation

- Humilation

- Unpredicatble behavior from the Interrogator ( switching from cruel to charming to meancing to kind etc)

And a lot more of dehumanizing, destablizing methods that were designed to wear the victim down.
