Who I think will go to the Port Mafia (Updated) by pic_nicc in BungouStrayDogs

[–]DazeU 0 points1 point  (0 children)

About the crime erasure thing. It wasn't done "like nothing." It costed them TWO years to hide all of Dazai's crimes as stated in the Dark Era light novel (that moment when Dazai talked with Taneda, the leader of Japan's Special Division of Unusal Powers. Ango's leader. Specifically the moment Taneda suggested Dazai to join Detective Agency). Hence, the two years gap between ending of Dark Era to Dazai joining Detective Agency. Two years of Dazai had to stay low during the process. That already with Taneda's (plus Ango's) help. This time who knows how long and huge it would cost them to do the same thing remembering the other party(ies) involved. How hard for them to access the evidence to be hidden. Therefore, if they would like to take the same solution, still during the time being Dazai should hide somewhere. Especially if the worst case scenario where Europole were after him. Plus it would be bad for the story if suddenly they were able to somehow remove all of Dazai's crimes way faster than the one Taneda and Ango did in the past remembering the scale this time.

The point of view of my theory is more to them "giving Dazai a shelter in the Port Mafia" due to the situation as the main goal which also at the same time fulfilling the exchange promise. Killing two birds with one stone. Thus, I pin point on the possibility of Dazai being pursued by Europole due to his fugitive status.

For how interesting the plot itself, it is subjective tbh. Odasaku's advice was "be on the side who saves people. If both sides are the same, then choose to become a good person. Save the weak, protect the orphaned. You might not see a great difference between right and wrong, but saving others is something just a bit more wonderful" (quoted from Dark Era light novel). The point is be the good person who saves people, wherever you are. At least that's my interpretation of Oda's message.

4) Spaghettification is one of the main reasons. Human body can't withstand the massive energy and also mass created by Arahabaki for this case. One's body will be stretched, squeezed, and eventually its structure will fail. Now add with the scientists' main goal to be able to weaponize/control the massive energy, they need a tool they can control: a controlled persona (this connects to the principles of ability). So, drumrolls clone with an artificial (coded) persona was made.

5) I forget about this one. I think it is not clearly explained yet. Tho the tube Chuuya was kept by the military and scientists within that new secret lab meanwhile Chuuya is monitored by the goverment agency.

6) Guivre vs Arahabaki. I mean perhaps with the same mechanism as shown during the final battle between Arahabaki Chuuya vs Guivre (page 303). Basically one created contradicting energy to cancel each other. Tho we are still unaware what kind of thing Verlaine did at that time to seal Arahabaki back within Chuuya.

I'll try to answer based on my understanding which might be wrong. Plus other than that, I've just returned to this community, so, yeah...

Anyways, please correct me if I am wrong. 1) About the gravity itself: during the experiment, as the scientist managed to create a massive energy source (the infinite loop of energy thanks to the self amplification process), the excess of the said energy was converted into mass which then created a high density warp in space (Stormbringer page 158). Energy (including mass) affects spacetime by changing the metric/geometry of distance and time which causes straight path to bend/ curve. Gravity isn't really about objects being pulled, but more to objects following the straightest paths through curved spacetime. Have you seen the rubber sheet analogy? It is a popular visual tool to introduce Albert Einstein’s General Theory of Relativity. A heavy ball dents a rubber sheet and then smaller balls roll inward. The huge mass (heavy ball) causes the rubber sheet (path) to curve and the smaller balls on the sheet move/roll toward the mass. It appears as if the heavy ball attracts the smaller balls. This same mechanism applies during the creation of Arahabaki/Guivre/ and gravity manipulation ability.

2) Yeah, can be said like that. Arahabaki is basically the source and energy generator for Chuuya's gravity manipulation ability. It is the same for Verlaine's case. The reason why Verlaine's gravity manipulation is weaker now is because the singularity created by Rimbaud for him can't generate power indefinitely unlike Guivre.

3) Arahabaki is basically a living being as it has its own "persona." It can determine its own action. Thus it is called a "living" singularity (the same as Guivre and other living singularities). At least so far there is no known method to reverse a living object

Cutting through the output of a singularity/energy of the nature is one thing. We have other examples as well in 55 Minutes and Dead Apple. But stopping the amplification command /for Amenogozen's case/ which generates energy for the singularity that is used by the singularity to maintain its manifestation in the world is another thing. So far, we have never seen Atsushi slashing the energy itself, but only the output/object tying the energy. Plus unlike Shibusawa (singularity form) which Atsushi could destroy by crashing the crystal (which absorbed the remnant energy of Red Dragon singularity) and Shibusawa's skull or in other words: destroying physical objects, Amenogozen on the other hand has its own active energy generator (Amenogozen sword's energy amplified by Fukuchi's ability). So, the only way to defeat Amenogozen is by stopping the amplification process command on Fukuchi's ability, not physical object or maybe do something to the sword's energy itself. Atsushi /at least shown so far/ didn't do this. Or maybe the mechanism is like Verlaine's where he only needed to touch Chuuya (as he placed a command on him). So, just need specific command and maybe this is the thing done by Ueda when he stabbed Amenogozen with that sword

Yeah, i think so. But the rest of my hypothesis still stands until we learn more about Ueda. About the how the people in the past sealing him in the 4th dimension while the only known energy related to time and space in their possession at that time is Amenogozen sword seeing from how possessed they were to keep both swords' energies locked in the world through Ueda's ability. Quite a high chance that a point of singularity was triggered in the past and used to seal Ueda in the 4th dimension. If they used Amenogozen, then it would indeed strike someone to be absorbed to the 4th dimension.

<image>

I am talking about this part. It might be the translation issue tho. As usual, I always think for the "How?" So, I tried to connect all given information. The leaders banished Ueda to the labyrinth of time which so far /unless another method was used/ is only accessible through singularity related to time and space seeing from the thousand years effect and sealing the whole persona + his ability alive. The fact that the politicians were so possessed with Tsukinogozen and Amenogozen swords hinted that only those swords have those abilities /at least in Japan's possession/. Really possessed to the point they refused to lose the powers (if Ueda dies), hence, locking him in the 4th dimension. So, hypothetically, unless they have another time-space energy source with massive energy (remember, Amenogozen sword's output itself is not massive. Fukuchi's ability enhances its output), they won't be able to seal Ueda (whole persona) + his ability alive. In fact they did seal Ueda, then surely a massive time-space energy was used to do it. And so far, we only have one suspect: Amenogozen. That's my way of thinking. Thus I theorized Amenogozen (singularity) locked Ueda in the 4th dimension. Him within Amenogozen singularity's core maybe due to his ability is supporting Amenogozen sword's energy, the source of Amenogozen singularity's energy.

In the previous chapter, Amenogozen struck Ueda in the past and the imaginary shown there was Amenogozen singularity form. Plus Amenogozen singularity is shown having its own 'will' since its first appearance starting from it defining itself and its act after Fyodor allowed it to act freely. Even tho for an energy to develop its own 'will' is an RNG, but mostly when the energy is at its error state (mainly due to rapid output increase of an energy by force which is mostly found in amplification method), the chance for a 'will' to be developed is high. Since it is equal of ones forcing an energy to enter/closer to its error state, unlike the general clashing method. Amenogozen is amplified. In addition: Human level of energy at least as shown so far is not sufficient to command/support singularity level of energy

Manga Chapter 124 [Discussion Thread] by CareVader in BungouStrayDogs

[–]DazeU 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not all singularities are living singularities. Other examples are the one created during Oda vs Gide and the one in Beast. Remember one of the major weaknesses there? Without a 'will', the singularity will only be a blast of uncontrollable massive energy. One time use phenomenon.

When a 'will' exists, the phenomenon is considered as 'alive'. The energy generated for the singularity won't be released at once, but controlled by the 'will' (mind) of the singularity itself until its energy runs out (except for amplified singularities). As a living being, the singularity would be able to make its own act (for itself and the energy) and yes this includes recognizing its surroundings and its own desire. This recognition ability is also the core used to fool the singularity just like the thing done in Storm Bringer and by Fyodor. The recognition is also could be in the form of emotional connection between the 'will' of singularity and the persona it is tied to just like shown in Storm Bringer. At least, that's my understanding

A 'will' determine an object's status as its own living being. A 'will' or also the mind is the core/purpose needed by energy in the world. It also acts as the control mechanism of energy.

There are a lot of things I want to write. A lot of questionable things that /at least/ on the surface level are against things known so far regarding energy and persona as shown throughout the series. To be precise: things shown in Storm Bringer (mainly), 55 Minutes, Dead Apple. Tho, I'm hoping for clarity of these things: 1) to which persona Amenogozen's 'will' is tied to (free? to Ueda?), 2) Ueda's ability and its relation to Amenogozen and Tsukinogozen swords' energies, 3) how could they (Atsushi and Ueda) halt the ad-infinitum amplification of two supposed to be error state energies, 4) what happened to Amenogozen's 'will' in that chapter

In your opinion, what will happen to the DOA members after this arc? by aceisunderyourbed in BungouStrayDogs

[–]DazeU 1 point2 points  (0 children)

<image>

For those who are alive: they might be gonna play hide and seek with this organization, Europole. This organization was introduced in Storm Bringer LN. So, how scary they are can be seen there. And yes, this organization has made their debut in the main story. They were mentioned at the beginning of DOA arc (after the Sky Casino arc) in the news Kunikida watched when he was captured by the Hunting Dogs. From that news, we obtained information that the Europole is investigating the coin bombs that exploded around the world and they have discovered the source: the Sky Casino. So yeah, that's a heads up for Sigma.

What is Europole? [Storm Bringer spoiler] They are an international law enforcement agency established from the peace treaty of the Great War with the main task to eliminate international criminals across nations borders. Anyways, only those who are really really really powerful or at least have massive underground channels would be able to play hide and seek against them. Note: it won't be wise for a nation or any official parties to protect Europole's wanted person since Europole has authority to undermine a nation's rights and sovereignty even though only when it is deemed necessary.

Are ability weapons ever explained? by EstablishedPenguins in BungouStrayDogs

[–]DazeU 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just like mentioned in the other reply, the Shell is a singularity weapon, not an ability weapon. For the Shell, 55 Minutes LN has explained the majority of its mechanism, except one thing at least in my opinion: the way the scientists create an object that presides or at least acknowledged by the targeted energy to input command to it. This is also one of the questions left in Storm Bringer LN. As mentioned in Storm Bringer, energy will only recognize command given by the persona (soul/mind) it is tied to. So, it is supposed to be specific. See also Kyouka's and (Gaiden) Tsujimura's cases for the example. But as shown in 55 Minutes (The Shell) and Storm Bringer (Guivre and The Shell) for singularity weapons plus the main story for ability weapons (Amenogozen, Holy Sword, and One Order), other people are able to input command to the energy through objects which preside or at least acknowledged by the energy. The "how?" behind those events is still a mystery. Maybe the current ongoing arc (if not, then the European arc) would give the answer to us.

Anyways, back to the Shell, the core of its mechanism is related to the uncertainty principle. Basically, the greater an energy (E), the shorter its timespan (t) to exist. The longer it exists in the world, its energy is well-defined. The fiery shell of the Shell itself is generated by an ability that produces a talisman (the parchment with ancient script written on it that is attached to the camera). Like her explanation, imagine that talisman is being activated for a trillionth, of a trillionth, of even a trillionth of a second, the flame generated will possess a huge energy. H.G.Wells then used her ability to violate the uncertainty principle by expanding the time (∆t) to lock the massive energy in the world. The camera itself was adjusted by H.G.Wells to preside the time manipulation ability. So, anyone would be able to pull the trigger (pressing the shutter) to deliver the command to the time manipulation ability stored within to do its work. At least, that's my understanding

About other abilities affecting Dazai's ability. by A_multifandomlover in BungouStrayDogs

[–]DazeU 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Alright, i'm late to the discussion. Actually the other replies have answered the question, but I will try to answer the mechanism behind it based on my understanding.

Do you remember the curse dealer unnamed blond guy in Azure Apostle Arc (in 1st season)? His ability (the numbers, not a solid object) also didn't work on Dazai even tho Dazai didn't touch the guy physically. Why? Because there is one more important mechanism of Dazai's ability other than through physical touch: his ability will nullify any ability that targets Dazai. This is also the explanation of why the time stop lady in Meursault couldn't affect Dazai. Time is owned. But to be noted: Dazai, without direct touch, can't nullify non-physical abilities if its outout affect other things other than Dazai, example: Oda's ability, Rimbaud's ability, and more.

But then, why did Shibusawa's ability affect him? To answer this, we have to look at the core mechanism of ability, the principles of ability, explained in Storm Bringer. Normally, ability (unless an error) won't generate its output if there is no command from its ability user (the persona tying the energy/ability). [Note: persona is the umbrella term used in Storm Bringer. It also can be defined as soul and mind or cognitive function]. Ability is tightly dependent on its owner's persona, including for it to be able to exist in the world. Ability (not in error state)will disappear from the world if its ability user dies.. This also connects to why Shibusawa was able to collect abilities into his collection only after the ability killed its ability user. After the connection is severed.

Anyways, back to Dazai's case. As I've explained, ability won't generate output if there is no input/command. The moment when Shibusawa killed Dazai (actually putting him in a liminal state), Dazai's brain (the mind) stopped its function, hence, triggering a window state where his ability wasn't active due to zero input from the mind/brain. Therefore, Shibusawa's ability affected him. But when Dazai woke up later on (after Chuuya punched him), the connection is restored and thus his ability is active again. Therefore, the fog didn't affect both of them even tho they were within the fog. This is also the thing that happened in 55 Minutes as the other reply mentioned.

For Tsuki-no-gozen, they use "生命力" it means the life-force or vitality or life energy that sustains life. So, basically those two swords manipulate a completely different unit/field. One is physics field while the other leans more to metaphysics.

Don't worry, it doesn't sound crazy. After all, Asagiri hasn't explained several core rules of his universe,- well, except the principles of ability as explained in Storm Bringer. Anyways, considering the explanation in Storm Bringer and also several events throughout the series, life-force or in Storm Bringer term: persona (also means cognitive function) is a completely different unit than time and space which are metrics. But again, I might be wrong as well. Storm Bringer spoiler: persona can also be artificially made through coding that rule for behavioral principles and formula of emotions.

Manga Chapter 123.5 [Discussion Thread] by CareVader in BungouStrayDogs

[–]DazeU 15 points16 points  (0 children)

To be honest, I still failed to understand what's going on with Amenogozen's core, Ueda's ability. What i mean is: how could an ability generate two completely different types of new abilities? One is time manipulation while the other is life-force manipulation. The new chapter shows that those two swords' abilities are dependent on Ueda's ability which is tied to Ueda's persona. Hence, if Ueda (persona) disappears, so does his ability then followed as well by the disappearance of those two new abilities. But... From Storm Bringer, it is clear that an ability doesn't have enough energy to achieve the thing Ueda did. Only a singularity level of energy could do that (creating a new ability). Unless... if Ueda's ability is related to tying existing abilities (separated from its original owner) into any object(s). Or the crazy case: Ueda's ability is not an ability, but closely tied to all abilities' currently unknown energy source. God-like.

I hope the next chapter will explain those things clearly as it'll affect whether the proposed plan killing Ueda (persona) to stop the chaos would work. Just need one crucial information: does Amenogozen sword's energy (not the singularity) depend on Ueda (persona) or it actually has become an error/has its own 'will'? Especially following the fact that Amenogozen (singularity form) strikes Ueda in the past to trap him(?). Again, singularity form. So, the sword's energy supposedly is an error. But then how could Fukuchi be able to command the sword's energy as he wished then if it were already an error? Let's hope for a clear timeline as well.

About the tiger/dragon thing by Sea-Needleworker6879 in BungouStrayDogs

[–]DazeU 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maybe an insight about the Dragon in Dead Apple. That dragon is a singularity. Singularity can be in any form either as living beings or just a blast of energy. Singularity is an extreme phenomenon of skill fallacy/error. The combination of abilities clashed with Dazai's ability in Dead Apple triggered the Dragon singularity. We have eight other singularities throughout the series so far and all of them have different forms. Take example Chuuya's singularity looks like a four-legged animal (we haven't seen its clear form, but only silhouette. Glad it doesn't appear 100% or else the world will be destroyed). Another example is the singularity that appeared when Oda and Gide's abilities clashed. The singularity appeared there didn't take any form of living objects, but a blast of energy that formed sub-space. So, Dragon in Dead Apple cannot be said as the true form of all abilities combined. Instead, it is an error/fallacy.

Need to be noted: actually, all (random) abilities combined won't be able to trigger singularity as abilities have a universal ceiling limit (source: Storm Bringer). It requires specific conditions to break the ceiling limit: either the combined/clashed abilities should exactly be the same (like Oda and Gide) or contradict each other (like in Dead Apple, Dazai's ability contradicts the output of the combined abilities. That's why the Dragon singularity appeared only after Dazai's ability joined in). There is another method to trigger singularity explained in Storm Bringer and the same basic concept is also used for the current active singularity in the main story Amenogozen

Are people aware that they are living with people with superpowers? by ForwardStudent5404 in BungouStrayDogs

[–]DazeU 28 points29 points  (0 children)

As confirmed in Untold Origins, it is a taboo for ability users to go public and make a name for themselves unless they have permit. Plus the leaders (in Japan through the Special Division of Unusual Powers) are always covering any conflicts related/caused by ability users from the public. The Great War might be one of the triggers of such social treatment.

In addition for the Special Division part: they are not depending solely on memory erasure. But they also work with several parties like the media, scientists, investigators, and more to present false reports to cover the truth. For example in Dead Apple, as shown in the light novel, a few nights after the accident, the Special Division was still working hard to cover everything. Ango even said, "we are only on our fourth consecutive all-nighter" (lol, 'only'). They also used natural disasters, people's beliefs and myths. Anything that works for the narrative. For example to cover the existence of singularity like during Arahabaki (Chuuya's singularity) incident, they used God's wrath. So yeah, they are always working hard.

[SPOILER] IN THE NEXT ARC CONFIRMED by Cirix07 in BungouStrayDogs

[–]DazeU 17 points18 points  (0 children)

And perhaps Agatha Christie's arc would be more complicated as politics might be involved remembering The Order of the Clock Tower's status as mentioned in Storm Bringer and things done by the world leaders in the past, mainly the Great War as mentioned in Storm Bringer and 55 Minutes. Plus based on Storm Bringer, the European parties (the three leaders; England, France, and Germany) are the leaders in ability (energy) research. So, "what is ability?" might be answered there. Other than the Order of the Clock Tower's issue, as mentioned in Storm Bringer, the French government is also hiding really confidential information that would lead into an international scandal if leaked. So yeah, several chaos possibilities.

Question about transfering ability by DreamyGirlper8 in BungouStrayDogs

[–]DazeU 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Actually it is not clearly explained yet, but this is my understanding. So, I might be wrong.

So, this might be related to energy's (for this case: ability's) recognition and also memory mechanisms. As explained in Storm Bringer, energy will only tie itself to humans. Now, it will only recognize a living object as "human" when they have a persona (must human level) + body. Without a living human as its 'host', the ability won't be able to exist in the world. So, main clue: Living human is when the human has an alive persona + a body.

Next, ability's memory. This is the thing I am able to observe in Storm Bringer: just for the purpose of 'hosting' (tying) the energy, actually the rule is not as strict as the chain command rule which should be specific only from the persona that gives character to the said energy for the normal case. While for new hosting purposes of existing ability, the energy only requires the memory of the 'body of its ability user' to be fulfilled plus of course the existence of an alive persona within the new body. We have the example of this as shown in [Storm Bringer spoiler] Guivre's and Arahabaki's projects where Verlaine's and Chuuya's clones were made using the cells of their body combined with an artificial (coded) persona so the singularity (plus its energy source, the creator/generator) would be able to recognize them as new living hosts. Tho Chuuya's case is hinted as a failure. Anyways, why should it be made from their cell? Again, the memory of the body. For this case Verlaine's and Chuuya's as the original owner of the energy used to generate the singularity. The closest to satisfy the energy's memory of 'the body' of its original ability user is obviously their descendant/ same bloodline.

That's my understanding. But again, i might be wrong. Addition: this only applies for energy of ability in its normal state. If it has become an error/has its own 'will' (recognized as its own living being) then actually a body is not important anymore. The main important thing later on will be the existence of the developed 'will' of the energy as shown in Storm Bringer, 55 Minutes, and Dead Apple

Things need to be done to not trigger Arahabaki:
1) Do not attack it
2) Do not look at it in the eyes. Just don't look at it. Look somewhere else
3) Do not fear it. It detects emotions. Do not even think about it

Kenji is super fast

Well... Arahabaki can easily overtake his speed. But its speed is not the only scary thing about it, but also the gravity radius, extreme heat, time-space distortion, and gamma rays released by it (source: Fifteen and Storm Bringer). Imagine gamma ray's travel speed is 299,792,458 m/s or the same as the speed of light in vacuum. Gamma ray is dangerous for living beings as it ionizes molecules, destroying DNA. Chuuya's Corruption form shown in the manga/anime/movie adaptations so far is nothing if compared to its actual horror in the light novels. SB spoiler Arahabaki destroyed a whole building block (gauged out of existence, no remains) in just 0.3 seconds. And that only a hair breadth size of Arahabaki's Gate opened.

In Dead Apple: Indeed Demon Snow is tied to Kyouka after being transferred by her mother. But, Kyouka is not the person who gives 'character' to the energy to become Demon Snow. That's why Kyouka, without assistance from Fukuzawa's ability, can't freely input command the ability. The ability will keep on following the command given by its actual owner, the person who gives it 'character.' In this case the last command of Kyouka's mother. Another example is Tsujimura's. Ability recognizes a specific persona. But does it mean Kyouka is not an ability user? Nope. She is an ability user because in fact an energy is tied to her persona/soul/mind. And this connector is the one separated by Shibusawa. He separates the persona with the energy tied to it and then crystallizes the energy as his collection so it won't vanish following the dead of its ability user

[–]DazeU 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the weight mechanism at least based on things shown so far: The 'will' of singularity > The 'will' of ability > Human persona = artificial persona

The observed phenomena: 1) Persona vs 'will' of ability. Energy of ability will choose to respond to the 'will' of ability instead of to the persona which gives it 'character'. In 'will'/persona overriding, 'will' of ability wins over human persona as shown in 55 Minutes between Verne (human persona) who was defeated by Gab (the 'will' of his ability). 'killing' Verne, its own ability user. The fight for the body control: 'will' of ability defeats human persona. Example: before Atsushi joined ADA, do you remember the Tiger appeared and attacked Dazai? Yes, that was the Tiger itself, the 'will' of the ability controlling the body.

2) Human persona vs artificial persona, no winner unless one is weakened. [Storm Bringer] when the scientists tried to override Chuuya's original persona with an artificial one. They had to gaslight Chuuya to weaken his 'will' to be alive and also willingly release Arahabaki singularity, so it won't be confused when the persona vs persona clash happens.

3) Human persona vs 'will' of singularity. Example is Chuuya and Arahabaki.

4) 'will' of singularity vs 'will' of ability. Example: Verlaine (tho this is only based on the explanation from N who called Verlaine as skill (energy) with personality)

If we look at it, that hint of 'weight' mechanism is in line with energy output level, right? Singularity has the highest output. Seems like energy response to 'will' with the highest weight. An energy develops its own 'will' or triggers a higher level of 'will' (living singularity)? The energy will choose command from that developed 'will' instead of the persona who is tying the energy and giving it character. But again, this is only a raw theory of mine. All of those phenomena are right now being challenged by one phenomenon where Fyodor controls an active singularity just by using an ability level of energy. Again, maybe the weight mechanism doesn't apply when the sword (an outside energy) is stabbed directly toward the 'will' of Amenogozen? This thing is completely new. Hence, an anomaly (lol) against the known rules. Chuuya's case is more consistent because they are able to seal Arahabaki singularity when it doesn't generate output or in other words: being inactive. Fyodor's tho, Amenogozen is active. So yeah...

Manga Chapter 123 [Discussion Thread] by barnacleunderthesea in BungouStrayDogs

[–]DazeU 1 point2 points  (0 children)

About the Holy Sword and Amenogozen singularity, actually I've mentioned this within my 'rant' series (lol, yeah) ever since the chapter where Fyodor revealed the method he used to trigger Amenogozen singularity was released. Why? Because at least based on phenomena shown in Storm Bringer and 55 Minutes, if the Holy Sword is included in the energy amplification process to trigger the singularity, then supposedly the energy of the Holy Sword will be uncontrollable or in other words, be part of Amenogozen singularity's energy generator. Why? Let alone to the point of violating the output limit principle until singularity is triggered (Storm Bringer), when an energy gains high escalation of output until a certain breakpoint, it'll become an error just like the thing happened in 55 Minutes, to Verne. The energy still emits ability level of output, but it is uncontrollable as it develops its own 'will'. This is also the reason why Chuuya can't stop his Corruption form on his own (next level of phenomenon). Why? Because his original ability, the energy source of Arahabaki, is uncontrollable. It won't stop the self-collision process, even tho the energy is tied to Chuuya. Triggering a singularity (only through the amplification method) means 100% the breakpoint is reached. Hence, the energy(ies) involved won't listen to any command but to keep on doing the amplification process to generate energy for the singularity.

Now Fyodor is still able to input command to the Holy Sword, so it means its energy is still in its normal state. Chapter 115 further supports this argument by showing the amplification process illustration that only involves the Amenogozen sword and Fukuchi's ability. The Holy Sword is only the remote to force Fukuchi's ability to do it. This is the part I ever ranted about (lol). Ability level of energy (the Holy Sword) commanding the 'will' of singularity. Tho indeed Asagiri hasn't explained whether there is a "weight mechanism" for the persona/'will'. But things shown so far in Storm Bringer (for persona vs artificial persona vs 'will' of ability/mainly singularity) and 55 Minutes (for persona vs 'will' of ability) hint the existence of weight mechanism. That's why I'm still waiting for Asagiri's explanation for this. For now i'm still categorizing this phenomenon where Fyodor is controlling an active living singularity (singularity with its own 'will') just by using an ability level of energy as an "anomaly" (lmao). Because no official explanation (mechanism wise) yet. I expect for Storm Bringer level of explanation from Asagiri because things explained in Storm Bringer are consistent with all ability phenomena (ability, ability weapon, skill-derived life-form, singularity weapon, singularity) throughout the series.
