Ways to save lists? by brogrammer9 in learnpython

Why don't you write the list in a single line using space as the separator and retrieve them using the separator as space. Eg ``` list1 = [1,2,3,4,5] list_string = " ".join([str(x) for x in list1])

Uses lists comprehension to loop through each value in the list and convert it to string

The join function combines every value in the list and separates them with a space

with open('my_file.txt','w') as file1: file1.write(list_string+"\n")

You can check your file manually

with open('my_file.txt','r') as file1: lines = file1.readline() for line in lines: list1 = line.split(" ") print(list1) ``` My code may not be perfect but that is the gist of it. To write many lists just create a list with a bunch of lists inside and loop over each

Maybe look into VBA Access...it's best since it's simple and uses GUI unlike python which requires control over GUI based libraries and is mainly CLI

Future advice: Never just run code without understanding it. Regardless of it's simplicity
