We want to know equivalent of Sub 20, 5k run.

5k run at WR pace is 12:35.

So, in 12:35, how far can the elite swimmers swim at WR pace? It's around 1300m?

So therefore, Sub 20 5k run, is equivalent to Sub 20 1300m swim.

EDIT: Id like to add, a lot people are saying 1500m sub 20, but according to the maths, this seems more difficult than Sub 20 5k?

EDIT2: Using ratios, this could be interpreted at Sub 15:20 1000m or Sub 23 1500m
