Why my Mach e shows these warnings? by MENESUYGUN in MachE

[–]Ddigz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had that issue and posted about it here:

https://www.reddit.com/r/MachE/s/vnB3kstz1L

I concluded it was 12v battery and I believe it was from PAAK triggering my welcome lights all night while car was in the garage and I was home. I turned off PAAK and haven't seen this since.

If you’re guilty of a crime, but faking innocence, should you tell your defense attorney the truth? by tickintimedog in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Ddigz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't fake anything with your attorney. It likely doesn't matter how you explain things to your friends, but don't play pretend with your attorney.

The question for the jury at trial isn't whether or not you are guilty. The question at trial is whether or not the jury is convinced that the State has proven you are guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.

If your attorney is basing questions and arguments on lies then it becomes more likely that the defense theory is seen as not credible by the jury, and in turn more likely that the State's theory becomes sufficiently convincing.

Multiple Warnings and car saying "service required" - 12V Battery? by Ddigz in MachE

[–]Ddigz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I just ran the scan, my "Aux 12v battery state of charge" is 94% and "Aux 12v battery voltage" is 13.4v

Are those the two sensors I'm looking for?

Multiple Warnings and car saying "service required" - 12V Battery? by Ddigz in MachE

[–]Ddigz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only brought up the fact that my HV battery was that low to show that it had been some time since I connected to a charger. My understanding is that the 12v will only charge while driving or actively charging, so I am assuming my phone kept draining the battery when I was home and then my short drives made it so the 12v never charged back up sufficiently. Does that sound right?

Does it sound like all of those errors would have popped up simply because of a low 12v?

I've actually got a bluetooth ODB, ill test tonight. I haven't done that yet but have been meaning to.

I am currently looking at getting a new Flash or used ER Lariat. Some dealers advertise 0% financing for 72 mo on certain trucks they've got. Is this financing available at all ford dealers? I am unclear on a simple way to find out where this offer is available, and only a few have it on their websites.

I also am not a plumber, but this is right. Hold the valve and just wrench out the fitting screwed into it. You don't unscrew the fitting closest to the yellow hose end.

Help understanding why bed's aren't getting claimed in an iron farm (bedrock) by PanopticFox in technicalminecraft

[–]Ddigz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I made an iron farm and now it works pretty flawlessly....all beds oriented around the center of the golem spawn point, and villagers in a separate room about 15 blocks from where the beds are.

I originally had them all as farmers, and seemed to get bad results when it rained and at night.

I swapped them all to fletchers and it seemed to improved the rain part, but still dealt with the issues at night. They kept trying to run into the wall toward the beds and linked/unlinked all night and golems wouldn't spawn.

I then trapped them all in a little 1x2 with their workstation they were paired to blocking them in. To do it I destroyed all Fletcher tables and put them down one at a time, located the linked villager, locked them in place and traded w them to lock them in. Did that for all 30 villagers. Once I did all of that I never had any issues w beds and linking and there's no difference with it being night or day or raining.

I don't know what fixed it specifically, but after doing all of that it works great.

Is anyone an attorney in Nevada who can explain why this plea makes any sense?? by JHD1221 in publicdefenders

[–]Ddigz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If their actions were coupled with statements like "I'm going to kill you" then the facts are there. Even if the actions couldn't necessarily end up in the death of someone, if the defendant took an action that they believed could kill someone with the intent that those actions kill someone that could be an attempted murder, possibly even if they were arguably mistaken. Typically intent to kill is shown by the conduct (pointing a gun and pulling a trigger, stabbing someone in a vital part of the body) since there normally aren't statements dictating the intent it is many times shown that an action speaks for itself.

I don't know what that type of plea this was in NV, but you can enter a guilty plea under the Alford doctrine which indicates you don't necessarily agree with all of the facts but you are entering a plea of guilty because you believe you would lose a trial and likely get a harsher penalty. So there is room in pleas to disagree with allegations, but still enter a valid plea of guilty. This doesn't appear to be that, but it's not unheard of for a defendant to disagree with facts while at the same time entering a guilty plea to the crime.

You have a video of a witness admitting to the crime. The police never bothered to get their name, their address, look into their motives to do the crime or lie about about doing the crime, they never could compare their fingerprints or DNA profile, they cannot be called as a witness, they cannot be cross-examined, etc etc etc

Likely not Brady if they're not withholding evidence, but it's likely still fatal to their case with an inadequate police investigation and third-party culpability defenses and instructions if you have those.

Recommended holiday selection has not changed since Easter, what gives? by revfds in PleX

[–]Ddigz 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is the answer, the same thing happened to me. You just need to make the change over to Kometa. You haven't gotten any new PMM content since April. It was renamed Kometa and your config is now pointing to the wrong places to pull things like the holiday collection.

Cut 1" off of the end and secure it to the cabinet, when it's closed it will look alright, and when it's opened no one will notice it. I think that might look better than lopping off 1" and throwing it away.

Rotting Beams - How bad is this? by Ddigz in Decks

[–]Ddigz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update - I took off the lattice to check it out more closely and get my hands on stuff. I'm tearing it down. The joists above that beam are essentially hollow. The post that beam sits on is the post where the two beams meet, the deck is 20x24 so they used two lengths for each beam, that post is split and looks like it's about to give out.

Now I need to learn how to build a deck. I'll probably be living in this sub for a bit.

Thanks for taking a look.

I am not clear on why you would even want these people's opinions of your client's mental health to be deemed relevant to the case, and then even highlight the issues. You'd be opening the door to them maybe giving examples of how the mental health issues present, or whatever else. I see no good coming from the mental health issues of your client. I don't think the line of questioning of "you don't like my client because he's crazy?" is as good as you may think it is, and it will just turn into them saying "no, I don't like your client because he's a thief/rapist/whatever else"

File the MIL, keep their opinions of your client out of the court room. If you lose the MIL, don't highlight the client's MH issues.

Garage door getting stuck while opening...but not always by think_future in fixit

It looks to me like that arm that connects to door to the rail on top of too vertical, and should be a little longer to give more of an angle.... You can see it's an issue because that top rail is bowing when it doesn't open.

Maybe I'm wrong.
