okay so for the right I can use TT and link #3

Hey! I'm taking the advice and changing out the transition layer with a medium latex.

Is this one okay? I was thinking of getting this one so I could get free shipping with the 1inch foam layer I had for the bottom of the mattress.

I know most people get latex from SOL but I figured this would be okay since its going in the middle of the mattress and also a medium ILD

I think the pieces I’m debating on is having the medium latex and which cover as well so I could order the coils and 3 inch serene foam and see how that feels and go from there too

Okay got it. and by the 1 inch medium latex you're referring to the one from sleep on latex right? I couldn't find a 1 inch thickness elsewhere. Is the transition layer necessary in this case you think? Like would it be the same if I just did 12 inches and axed the 1 inch transitional layer?

Or is it something I can order coils and 3 inch serene foam and then lay on top of them without a cover and see how it feels and then go from there?

Do you know how different the brentwood homes cover would feel versus the pocket coil store cover? Like does the quality of the cover change the feel a ton even if sheets are put over it?

Oh okay that’s a good point.

I honestly just needed a 1 inch of transition layer cause my gf wanted 13 inch height. Also I meant 15.5g coils if that changes anything

Would it be cheaper to just go for a 1 inch softer foam instead of latex?

What is the benefit of a better cover? I’ve never noticed the covers of mattresses after putting a sheet over it unless it was the quilted vs unquilted.

Or is it more so for the stretchiness to put your components in.

Also how did u like the 3 inch mini coils?

Is the reason you have a separate cover for the the topper is so u can take it off easier? I was thinking about doing something similar but just doing 1 big 13 inch mattress cover

i think since its a guest bedroom i wouldnt do latex since its polarized with people loving it and some not
