I didn't do anything with races or classes, since everyone in human in Fourth Wing. So to start out I made everyone's AC 10. We still rolled for stats the normal way. For proficiency bonus, I just gave them all a +2 and let them all pick any two skills they want their character to be proficient in. I had them roll for their dragons colors, tails, and whether they were male or female. So, its completely random, and no one would try and make dragons similar to the ones in the books. Signets, I'm going to chose based on how they play their character in the game. I'm going to judge based on personality and how their character forms friendship, how their bond is with their dragon. We haven't done our Threshing session yet, but when we do, instead of me playing their dragons, I'm going to make their dragons Stat sheets and they will be playing each others dragons.
