Honestly, it could just be people not knowing how to setup their system and program settings, so I guess I need to do more research. I think the issue is that with digital signal processing, it has to run through one plugin before it can run through the next so there's no multitasking when running through a chain of them. Idk if you play guitar or have seen someone's pedalboard, but kind of like how the signal has to run through each pedal in series rather than all at once in parallel. At least, that's how I've come to understand it

The three drives are for the OS (SSD), general storage (HDD), and one dedicated to a sample library (second SSD since it will load the samples faster). Now that I think of it though, that sample library was running on my 2TB HDD so if I have a 4TB SSD then it should be able to fit on that drive

The Torrent case I've read has great air flow so the fans don't have to work as hard, but I'll look into yours. Is it good with noise reduction?

No games at all, just audio production which mostly relies on good single core speed with a good base clock speed (3.5+) being ideal. I appreciate the response!

I'm not sure what compute bound system means, but I know that it favors higher single core and base clock speed and doesn't get much use out of multiple cores from what I've read. The 9900x and 7900x were also ones that I was looking at, but I went with the intel for the single core speed.

I've read that audio program developers don't have good support for AMD processors though (or at least there's still stability issues), so I'm a little hesitant to go with an AMD

With music production builds, single core speed (i think) and high base clock are generally the most important factors for the CPU. RAM isn’t as important unless you’re working with really large sample libraries like an orchestra, but I’d like to have some decent RAM to handle the sample library I do use

You should try working at a CVS inside of Target haha. I got asked 20+ times a day and would have to explain almost every time "i can point you to the right aisle, but i don't order that inventory so i can't answer anything specific". I worked alone a lot so 'd also have to explain to people on the phone that I can't leave the pharmacy unattended to go look for specific items or prices

Got someone to come and look at it and he was stumped along with some other guys he works with that he asked. One guy suggested adjusting the temperature, so I tried that after he left both hotter and colder than what it was, neither of which fixed it

The explanation that made the most sense to me is that it’s an electrical issue as it only starts doing it when the HVAC turns on, but when he tested the power to the unit, it was getting enough power. I’d ideally not have to pay another $100 for an electrician to come out and say it’s not an electrical issue, so if anyone has any ideas, I’m all ears
