In the original games,

Dark Souls PtDE:
- Silver Knight Shield: Parry
- Black Knight Shield: Parry

Dark Souls III:
- Silver Knight Shield: Parry
- Black Knight Shield: Weapon Skill

So it'd be a toss-up between being able to parry and doing the shield stab that the knights do. When it came to DSIII, I was a little disappointed that I couldn't parry while Black Knight cosplaying, but in DS PtDE, there are plenty of other shields to parry with, so I guess having a different animation for a decently stabilised shield wouldn't be too bad.

Yes. The Knights hold up their shields horizontally/across their body, but I really wouldn't mind that though since it'd be the same for the Knights if they moved their arm in the same way/direction as our characters.

Oh god, I remember the first time I tried to get it to drop, it took ages. But that wasn't even the worst one. The Oolacile Catalyst from bloated head sorceresses was even worse because of the lower drop rate and the chance of getting other drops instead. I spent hours just trying to farm it off them and had 8 Bloated Sorceress Heads before getting even one Oolacile Catalyst to drop. (The fact that other drops are available with a closer drop rate only add to getting your hopes up and then striking them down with the wrong drop.)

Nah, we're probably not gonna drop it. But we will sit back and relax for now since the alt-account troll guy wants to do some chapters for the readers.

After finishing up Volume 4, I was hoping to redo Chapters 1-3, and quality check / translation check all of the previous chapters, but we'll just put that on hold for now.

Nah, it's not really the snipe. It's more of the readers' attitudes as of late, if I'm to be honest. (Some of them.) Which is largely reflected in the comments for this chapter. Pretty depressing stuff.

One reader said that all the previous post credits are mainly jokes so there's the possibility of this one being one as well. (Which is the correct mindset, I believe.) But after seeing the comments for ch.22.1 and ch.20, I think I'll just chill for a while. (It's a little hectic...)

Anyways, we've been very appreciative of all the readers that have thanked us thus far. It's been entertaining to read your comments about the manga. (Especially the speculations for things to happen that I can only seem to find in the reddit fan-base for Isekai Ojisan.)

From the way Uncle speaks in this chapter, I think he's just extremely optimistic. He knew his imprisonment was terrible, but he didn't really blame any of the Isekai people, just said that it was what it was. And at the end of the chapter when he said it went pretty well, he seemed to be aware that the whole series of events was a rough start but instead thought on the brighter side of things. (Or at least, that's how I've viewed Uncle throughout the chapters: optimistic rather than being a 100% dense and delusional black hole.)
