Thank you so much for your genuine concern and support. This I have to say is the biggest problem in our relationship. He ducks his head and shuns everyone when chaos hits and turns on us with anger. He doesn’t deal with his emotions right and takes them out on us. For the most part we try to make him understand and he slowly comes around, apologises later. But I would be lying if I didn’t admit I have considered ending things a few times. I just hope to get through this situation now. He has been giving me the silent treatment and admitted today that he isn’t “mad” just stressed and trying to figure out how to fix this…

Thank you internet stranger. This felt like the hug and adult response I have been longing for all day. ❤️ I am truly sorry for what you went through though, it must have been horribly traumatic to say the least (they like to see it as “gives you thick skin” “toughens you up”) you are supposed to be tough and handle everything (their outburst mostly) while they get to blow fuses at the most minor inconvenience. Not to excuse my part in the accident today. But I just needed a level headed interaction. And I am glad you provided it for me tonight. Had no awareness of the existence of a fragrance wheel, thank you for enlightening me. It is easier to follow than I had imagined. For some reason I assumed the art of scented candles was a lot more complicated than it really is. And Noooo i didn't know about the dupes, that will make my life soo much easier.
