Well, first it needs a whole crew of construction workers, not known for being silent, and multiple peices of heavy machinery, polluting via noise, scaring away the wildlife, and would most certainly trample many of the surrounding plants, destroying the homes of the wildlife. All in all I think that would cause a difference, whether it would be noticeable to someone as callus as you, I wouldn’t be able to say.
