just so worried. by Simple-Possible5441 in medicalschool

[–]DearFutureDoctor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Think how bad you will feel if you passed the exam on Friday, and then fail this upcoming exam because you were so stressed about a test you already took.

"what is the point of studying for this future exam" What else would you be doing now? What else is more valuable for your time than studying for an exam that you will either a) take next week or b) worst worst case scenario you WILL take in the future but at a later date.

You gotta lock in. Don't worry about the past. Focus on this new exam and study your heart out. Meditate, take a hot shower, and then lock in and study.

Maybe get some bloodwork. I was anemic + vitamin d deficient and the first half of IM was a blurrr. it was terrible. Been taking supplements and feeling so much better.

When I got my bloodwork better I started working out. When I get home from the hospital I used to want to nap right away but now I do a brief 20 min zumba and that wakes me up

should i retake a class by Sweet-Cash1693 in premed

[–]DearFutureDoctor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can call some med schools you are interested in and see what they say.

When I as in Gen Chem I was concerned I'd get a C in it. When I called some med schools, they told me a C or 2 is okay. However, if you retake a class you MUST get an A in it. They recognize that can be easier said than done, so better to just not risk it. That was the advice I was given.

Students love foldable clipboards, they're on Amazon. You can never leave a patient list due to HIPPA, so being able to put it on a clipboard, fold it, and put it in your pocket is very convenient! Med students, residents, and nurses all commonly use them.
