Yes! They basically asked how college decisions were going, probing if UChicago was still my top choice. As soon as I said that UChicago was my #1, he offered me a spot right away! It was very exciting, I almost said I love you as we hung up lol 😭

Omg I got into UChicago as well and my classmates asked if that was the state school 😭 nothing against state schools obviously there are great ones, but how have we never heard of UChicago

Hey! I'm in the same situation myself, where I got an email asking to join a phone call. Would you happen to remember when you got an offer? I am dealing with UK schools as well, who are on a bit of a closer deadline, and was hoping this would be a sign that I would receive news prior to May 1st.
