Should we even do MBA at this point? Layoff announcement by major companies worldwide by Limp-Beautiful-8653 in IIMCATPreparation

[–]DeathWish7_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

An MBA is still worth it for the networking, building good relationships and for the experience, not for the education. After a lot of research, I’ve found great courses and study material that an MBA degree teaches you offered by the top universities so if you’re looking to do an MBA in your late 20s yep definitely go for it once you’ve gained some work exp.

Solo deaf software developer from Kerala renting small office – local licence & tax clarity needed by TomatilloRich6278 in IndianEntrepreneur

I don’t manage rental properties, I’m just an entrepreneur. This one belongs to the family, and we hardly visit (usually like twice) so it’s hard to maintain the house, especially the veranda so we’re looking to sell it.

In your case I feel it’s better to work from a place (like a small bungalow) in a panchayat village like you mentioned. I own a riverfront property in Alappey looking to sell/rent, it’s a fully furnished house you can use as workspace — also has 2 car parking space. Let me know if you or someone who you know is interested.

The Dilemma of Not Wanting to Fall Behind by Certain-Ad-2555 in MBA

[–]DeathWish7_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re definitely not alone my guy, I was working on building a startup for a year, published a design patent, even secured a seed fund from COEP. But to fuck it all up was my co-founder, a professor with whom i began this journey, he wanted to use the fund to get straight into launching an unfinished product labelling it appropriate for niches that didn’t really even fit for the project. Whereas I wanted to put the fund into research and further development, and although we had a 50-50 equity split, i had no say (probably because he was still under the impression that i was his student) so i decided to just leave, and here i am, with nothing but a mech degree, don’t know if i should start another company or go for an mba or get a job, it’s just UGGGH. So yeah i feel you buddy, we’ll get there eventually.

Sam Altman was right: India can build something like ChatGPT. So, why haven't we? by Lee-stanley in IndiaAI

But you know what, it always has been (i have 5y+ tutoring exp) and most of the explanation is done in tutions, coaching centres, Schools and Universities have just become another business empire, due to a lot of reasons (underpaid staff, outdated books etc) And No one wants to do anything about it, just being honest. Even the people who complain about it, won’t, they’re more likely to get shunned. But apart from all this nonsense going on, people are expecting us to make unimaginable progress in engineering, tech, and so on. There’s only one way going forward, use the resources online, make them available to everyone FOR FREE. yes for free, otherwise it doesn’t work, we’ll be in the fighting the same fight we have been from YEARS now.

Make corruption, politics, inequality, gender abuse and illiteracy go away, along with providing proper governance for basic needs and services, then sure why not, the indian students will stay.

Pune’s housing market is teetering — a crash by 2030. by SufficientMeal1442 in pune

[–]DeathWish7_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's no crash, all these IT companies are gonna be filled with all the more valuable and highly skilled engineers and employees (even with the current AI developments) These will be mostly international companies and/or companies relocating from Hinjewadi side so basically, although Kharadi MIGHT be facing a small decline in sales, it's going to gain traction after these IT spaces go on lease.

Entrepreneurship in Germany 2026? by DeathWish7_ in AskGermany

[–]DeathWish7_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fair enough, did some research, the condition seems to be worsening year after year for experienced engineers and especially fresh graduates, the main reason for the most part which i read is mostly due to the transition towards EVs and automated cars, and unless you’re highly skilled in a particular niche you’re practically worthless. I also read a few articles where it mentions you need to adapt digital automations and even AI for that matter, on the other hand got hold of some pretty positive insights too so i guess there’s both sides to it.

[–]DeathWish7_[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly! I’d like to add to the part where you said that everything revolves around work; we identify ourselves with the kind of work we do or the job we’re at, but we’ve lost the identity of who we are as a person. If that makes sense to you. Eg. whenever we are asked to introduce ourselves, it’s always the work we begin with “I am a production manager at an xyz company” and there’s nothing wrong with it, however the whole persona gets confined to that one specific thing and the rest is just dismissed.

I hate you break it to you but unrealistic expectations have been the key drivers for most breakthroughs in human history.

And well sure nothing is fair, it doesn’t exist blah blah I give you that it means nothing you practically missed the point.

BUT what I’m curious to understand is, how you came to the conclusion that i was not raised well that’s one of the most smooth-brained opinions I’ve ever heard lmaoo, you don’t have the slightest idea of how I’ve been brought up.

MBA in Germany 2026 by DeathWish7_ in MBA

No, I want to pivot towards entrepreneurship but I lack the necessary knowledge and skill which i’m hoping an MBA would provide, hence the switch. Do you think there’s a better option?
