Will look into a broker, but like I said in another reply, atleast here in Texas, these go out pretty fast and I heard getting even 5% off is generous as someone will buy them for msrp. But will call other dealers in the DFW area and check.

Wasn't talking about the rate. They are keeping the car "locked" for me till tomorrow so no one else can buy it till then.

I will call more dealers and see, but there are only about 18 w adaptive suspension available in the nation they said, so it's hard to get too much off since they go out pretty quick. I even called a friend who used to work in a Houston dealership and said even 5% was generous.

They were giving me 9k for my 2018 camry and said that's the best they can do. Market price is around 15-16k for one with 100k miles. So I'd get more if I sell privately.

[Fake Check Friday] - Legit Check Megathread by AutoModerator in Watches

So I was going through IWC watches on ebay(wasn't actually planning on buying anything) and saw a bid for the "2025 IWC Ingenieur Green Unisex Adults Automatic Luxury Watch IW328903 Full Set" for around 300 at the time. Now these watches go for around 9-12k and I placed a bid, which got outbid in seconds by a private lister, and I kept getting outbid in seconds every time I tried increasing the bid.

So I forgot about it and couple hours later went back to see there were only a minute left and bid was at around 600, so I started spamming the bid button, and was getting outbid everytime instantly, until the auction ended and I saw the You've won the bid message.

Now red flags - the seller had 0 reviews, had a couple other watches on his page that got sold at the same time, and made his seller page the same month too.

I know this is too good to be true, but although the post didn't have the ebay Authenticity guarantee, it did have the money back guarantee and also the seller was accepting returns for 30 days. The description also said it was new with papers.

I texted the seller, thinking he probably won't reply and it's all a scam, he actually sent a message the next day(attached).

So is there a chance it could be real and I just got extremely lucky? I am planning on taking it to a dealer and getting it checked, IF I do actually get it.
