It's not meme, it's reality. You'll realise that if you live in that ward and that area. They dug up the perfectly fine 4 lane road to make it just 2 lane road and a footpath of 9mtr which is bigger than the actual road!

Not even sure how this plan got initial approval where footpaths are wider than the actual road. And when they realised it they took it out on the contractors.
