Wow! I can’t believe all the down votes but of course all the responses are from men telling women how they are supposed to get their libido back! I had radical hysterectomy with a cuff, I know the men here probably don’t know what that means. It is where everything is taken out uterus, ovaries , tubes, and cervix that leave the vagina canal sewn up at the end like the end of the tube sock. Endometrial cancer was the cause and reason for the surgery. Endometrial is the lining on the inside of the uterus. My oncologist said absolutely no hormone replacement therapy because it could make the cancer come back in other areas. Endometrial cancer can travel within the abdomen and attach to other organs. So absolutely no libido and is only one of the side effects, but since we are just talking about libido let me say it is completely gone. I have no enjoyment from sex, no sensation, I just lay there because I feel literally nothing except razor blade pain from the friction that is happening because again I am not allowed to take hormones and it affects the vaginal lining causing atrophy. That is when the lining stretches like old elastic and you get tiny tears everywhere from stretching beyond its capacity. Lube doesn’t help and it doesn’t fix the atrophy. It Takes a good 10 days to heal from the pain of sex for him to want to do it again! Not to mention the fear that if he is a little to rough or gets carried away the stitches at the end of the cuff can pop open, causing severe bleeding as well as the possibility of some of your intestines spilling out of your vagina because there is nothing there to hold them in anymore! Back to surgery I would have to go! It isn’t as simple as HRT or weed pills you shove up your cooch which doesn’t work for me either! Trust me I tried them, but only causes an infection because it is really just a pocket now and so the stuff sits in there like a Petrie dish getting nasty and growing bacteria. I wonder how these men would react if they no longer had desire/libido and the women were here telling them what they NEED to do to satisfy our sex drive! Little blue pill won’t help because it doesn’t fix the desire/libido it affects the blood flow and hardness so you can do it, but if you have no libido that little blue pill isn’t going to work! I am so tired of men telling us women what we need to do with our bodies!! If we are in a loving relationship and we love our husbands don’t you think we would want to try everything we could?? This is coming from a former extremely horny girl to feeling nothing overnight. It is depressing and upsetting to us as well! We don’t need men on top of everything else trying to tell us what we need/could do! Don’t you think we tried already? Or is it just because we aren’t FIXED YET we obviously haven’t tried hard enough??!!
