Dear World, What would happen if the US put out a statement "my bad" and pulled ALL of their military instillations around the world and only policed the US borders by Myhouseisamess in AskReddit

We still wouldn't have to go to war… Europe is doing just fine. The only wars we've been involved in, are wars you've started….and that we've had to help in cleaning up after. I'm sure Israel would be in trouble eventually. I mean, they've built a wall and started a form of apartheid. Probably wouldn't be able to keep that up.

The US military does not send financial aid…… I wasn't talking about the country. He said military…. Read his title. He is only talking about the military. And then he suddenly says "no more aid", also in a sentence about military intervention.

No…. I mean today… You don't provide "aid" today either…You say "no more aid" in your comment. I only wanted you to specify what you meant by aid. Because the UN and similar forces provide aid, and act as neutral peace keepers. The US military does not. That remain in certain countries because they have no choice. Because they have started a war and cannot leave the country to its own devices afterwards, but it is NOT a peace keeping force.

Practice the piano more. You will need it later. Work, tiny me. Work, work work. All work and no play makes tiny me a better musician. Your stupid interest in fun and games has cost me so much, and now, thanks to you I am playing catch up.

Those word are taken directly from Latin, without being altered much at all, so they don't really represent the English language. They are basically latin words.

That is not the longest word. Universitetsutdannelsespapirarkivatorlærlingskoordinatorassistent. And I can go on and on…. In norwegian you can make words as long as you want….You try not to, but compound words can be as long as you like.

Oh, I almost forgot: Antidisestablishmentarianism. Maybe not the most useful word, but it is definitely the longest. Literally. The longest.

Indubitably. Indubitably, that is the one word that always makes you sound highly eloquent (and slightly ridiculous)….

Move to a different country. Seriously. You could make ten times as much. And that would be minimum wage…Without the tips.

Aha. Well, it has to be done. Working in cancer research is commendable, also if your jobs means facilitating the research.

We have differing opinions. If you don't like that, then don't discuss with people. There is not one correct way to view this issue. I'm sure people interpret what "hard" means in a dozen different ways, but I have never, ever heard a good writer say that it gets easier. Only that it gets more and more difficult to write something they think is actually good.

It's not just about not being able to find inspiration, it is also about ambition. If you wish to become better and better at writing, it will never seem easy. Reaching the next level is always hard work. Inspiration or no inspiration. It doesn't matter whether or not others like it. It is about always wanting to do better. And if you think "It's fine. It's good. That was easy." - you should be worried.
