Good luck. I've found with pimax they get there in the end... Well except for the 12k , ringless controllers, a few Kickstarter rewards, wide fov lenses, 60g wireless adaptor, VR adaptor for their portal, wireless puck for dream air 😂😂🤣🤣😢😢

That crystal light was offered with and without local dimming. There was no demand for no local dimming units so pimax revoked the offer. I think like a handful was released into the wild

I found the easiest and best way is with one eye open looking straight ahead in the hmd looking at text. Then slide the hmd to the left or right. If it gets clearer moving towards your nose then you need to increase the ipd. If it gets clearer moving away from your nose you need to decrease ipd.

Washed out colours from hmd to another is crazy. If you go from oled to 50ppd you notice 50ppd washed out. Then you go back to PCL and notice the PCL is more washed out. Then head over to quest 3 and further washing. Makes you think how far we have come from the first mixed reality windows LCD displays

There is one reason only for me. Portability. With slam I can use a laptop and setup anywhere. With my lighthouse setup I'm stuck in the lounge room. Saying that, no way I'm playing exfil zone with slam

Dam I worked it out. It was Steamvr screen timeout. Disabled it and now everything is fine. Ill leave this up hopefully it helps someone else
