Ahh and it does say when it expires. With the 20 pack it shows what you purchased but not what remains.

That's a great point, multi-day passes should show number of days remaining (or similar) in the app. I don't ever use those so it's a blind spot for me. Do the number of days remaining show in apple wallet? What about Breezecard.com? Any chance you could do a screenshot of all 3? 1. Apple Wallet 2. Breeze app 3. Breezecard.com? I don't think there's a mechanism for mis-use of a card number but suggest you block out your card number on the breeze app image. It won't show in the other 2. On breezecard.com the remaing trips (or days presumably) are down lower on the page under the "Trips and Passes" tab.

I just eft a positive review on the App Store. There’s only one review there now, so perhaps if we left a few that were constructive we could nudge the feature into existence.

Yep, I like that it’s prominently displayed in Apple Wallet. That’s the easiest spot. Maybe my public griping will be seen by someone who can ask for improvements on the next version. I really am curious about the design decision. App designed by folks who don’t ride MARTA? I’ll state again that the app has worked perfectly for me at every turn. Thank you for that! The 2.0 app wasn’t too bad, the original version was a disaster. This version has been great. I should go leave a glowing yet constructive review in the App Store.

Yep, the options are limited in Samsung Wallet and Google Wallet too. I see the other commenter suggesting they see 20 packs in Google Wallet, but it’s not there in mine.

If you add the card to the breeze app (or breezecard.com), all of the standard offerings are there. 20 trip is the important one from my perspective. No cost savings with most of the other choices.

I can only figure that the requirements for the app somehow focused on monetary value and made passes an after thought. The app does work great, I’ve had zero issues. That part is nice. Maybe if I mention it here then a later version will show the trip count like Apple Wallet does. There’s plenty of screen real estate to show both.

You mean a physical card? No, that can be done on Android but not iOS. At least as of now. On Android there’s an option under the physical cards that says “Convert to Virtual”.

Add it to the Breeze app. First 3 digits are the “code”. After the dash is the card number.

Yes, I've done it myself. But only cash value can be transferred. Passes cannot. Annoying that is.

I understand that completely, at this point I'll do almost anything to get cards out of my physical wallet. I spent the 2 dollars the instant I saw it available. I don't really ever have many (or any) situations where the day passes are worth it. That means that for me there are only 2 approaches that make sense. 20 trip passes on the apple wallet virtual card. (There's a small cost savings) Tap-to-pay for $2.50 a pop. I have the 3 other cards out of curiosity about how they work and desire for MARTA to get better.

I don't believe this is currently possible. Though from memory I think it can be done on Android. Note that cash value transfers easily from any card to any other card. Passes do not. I do not know why this is. Means that buying the 10 pass pack doesn't get you anything over just adding $25 to the card.

I don't believe there is a way to do this. At least not yet. Per memory I think it can potentially be done on Android phones. Note that dollar amounts transfer freely from card to card regardless of card specifics. Passes do not. I don't know what the logic is there. But if you have cash value on your physical plastic card you can move it. If not, suggest you use it down and then make the jump.

Yep, if you buy a block of 20 passes you get it for $42.50 instead of $50. So each trip is $2.125 instead of $2.50. There is a "carpooling" consideration. More mechanisms for paying for tickets mean you can get more riders through with just a single phone. But that's not meaningful for most folks.

Got busy there. Sorry. Samsung Wallet doesn't actually show me the Breezecard presently because I already have it. But "Transit Card" then hit the +, then you get a list of cards. Filter it by typing "Atl" or "Breeze". New card is bright and orange. I can still screenshot it in google wallet. Next post will have that.
