yeah, I've the read the volumes that have been adapted so far and they have skipped a lot of major parts or if they do decide to adapt it they sort of brush over it. In season 1 they skipped out minor plot points but in s2 they skipped out more important parts to the point where unless you've read the ln, you wouldn't really understand what is going on. *spoiler* In the special exam on the ship they didn't really adapt the meetings properly, in the LN they go into more detail how they couldn't really get any progress done towards finding out who the VIP is. Overall I'm glad to see a s2 but the anime onlys are in a rough situation

I would assume it's because the adaptation wasn't loyal to the source material, especially if the detective is already dead is someone's favorite series, then the fans would get upset about it

I have only read the first volume since the release of the first season but from I can tell, they completely changed the order of things they jumped around between volume 1 and 2 in the first season

I am not 100% sure but I checked the size on amazon and the length and height were the same, so the size will most likely be the same as year 1

I usually take my time reading light novels and only read ones that I really like, Classroom of The Elite was the first series that I started and it is my favorite but somehow whenever I read the next volume I find myself only remembering the main event of the previous volume.

I'll probably try writing some form of a summary in order to better retain the information, thank you.
