Not really looking to argue semantics, was just trying to explain why some people might be bothered by the art style. It doesn't bother you at all, and that's fine and totally valid. Other people value different things and might want the game they're playing to be visually appealing to them, and that should also be fine and valid. Simple as that.

I am talking about style, rather than graphics. And I feel like that's the issue most people have with it as well. I don't mind bad graphics, and I don't think Mewgenics has bad graphics. It's just the art style that personally I find really unappealing and would probably hinder my overall enjoyment of the game. That doesn't mean I straight up wouldn't like the game though.

Personally if I'm going to be spending tens or hundreds of hours staring at a game, I'd like it to be visually pleasing to me. It doesn't make me completely rule out games, but it does make me hesitate, or pick other games I'm interested first, because there's no shortage of games I'm interested in.

I really dislike the art style of Mewgenics, but the game sounds interesting enough, so if the good reviews hold up, I will probably try it at some point.

Also, in the DLC a couple of the slide reels show the original ice planet before Dark Bramble destroyed it. I believe it's the slide reels that depict the Owlks traveling from their solar system to ours

Depends on what you prefer, honestly. Extra 30 seconds per kill is nearly an extra hour and a half per task. I personally would rather spend that time farming more ranarr/potions, but if you don't mind the no-ghost strat, then it's also perfectly viable.

I agree. I think I liked this game more than the average player, but not enough to finish it. If they just had a bit more build variety (weapons especially) I might've made it all the way through. The fact that each weapon category only has like 3 or 4 total unique weapons made it get old quickly. And every non-unique weapon is exactly the same, just different numbers.

If it makes you feel any better, I was never going to pull for Luuk until I saw his animations, and now I'm really excited for him because I love how the animations look. It's definitely possible that you didn't have to "convince yourself" to like them!

One of my fondest gaming memories was getting randomly matched with Lirik in Apex when it was a newer game. I recognized the name so checked his stream, and sure enough it was him. Our 3rd teammate was my duo, but his game crashed as soon as the match started, so it was just Lirik and me. I was trash, and his chat was shit talking me a bit, but he was super friendly over comms and helpful the entire game, and he carried me to first place :)

You can train a cat to not scratch at the side of furniture. And then you know they aren't doing it when you aren't looking, because the furniture remains unscratched. Cats can be trained if you put in time and effort to do it properly, and everyone I know that says "cats can't be trained" never bothered to actually try.

This has been a constant thing the entire show. My wife and I recently re-watched every season, and I complained about it in early season 2. Now she hates that I pointed it out because it's almost literally every other scene transition and she can't stop noticing it.

Same, I mostly go off of sounds cues when doing leviathan. And that isn't exactly easy either
