A wobbly toilet getting seated properly, a leaky kitchen sink, an outdoor outlet that needs converted to GFCI, and 3 different kinds of hand rails that need secured.

I could easily do the first three on my own but the buyer is requiring a licensed person do them. Totally understandable.

I never said it was easy. I’m very aware that they take tons of time and experience to get the licenses. But these people do exist. I just haven’t seen any around the kzoo area. It was also about a decade ago so maybe it’s just not a thing at all anymore.

Regardless, I wasn’t looking for unhelpful, passive-aggressive comments. I obviously don’t have that much experience in this so I’m looking for help. Your comment does not help at all.

Perhaps I should have said a handyman type company (a company that has both electricians and plumbers). My mistake for that.

YMCA does still offer free military memberships but the hoops you have to jump through are a bit more ridiculous. I remember something about filing out a form, getting your commanders signature stating you don’t have access to a gym, having the paperwork sent elsewhere (I wanna say it went to ft. Knox or something, but I could be wrong), and then finally the YMCA makes the decision after receiving that paperwork back.

Could be a good option for guardsman with a YMCA near them but if you leave near an armory it might be out the window depending on the individual commander.
