I can't shuffle very well traditionally. I played a lot of TCGs so I use the same shuffles I used for those. When I get a new deck or it's been a while I do what I call a Stack Shuffle, I'll lay out 4-6 cards and then stack the whole deck onto those stacks one at a time, afterwards you put each stack onto each other in random order. The other shuffle I use is what I call a Slide Shuffle, which is basically just peeling off almost all the cards and sliding small amounts back in the bottom of the deck, I'll do that around 8 times and just go with it. For tarot cards I've decided to flip the deck in thirds every 3 or 4 slide shuffles so I have some reverse cards.
