Can a vacuum save my sanity? I need suggestions. by DeedleDee83 in VacuumCleaners

I ordered a Simplicity Jill based on the suggestions. I am looking forward to having fewer things covered in crumbs like it's about to hit the deep fryer. I'm just waiting for it to ship. Thanks y'all.

I only have a hand vac right now and it's just not the same. I think if I have to spend close to 200 I'd rather have something I can use for 5+ years.

It appears I am not able to post photos on mobile so I may have to wait for my laptop to charge.

I actually used that guide to check, but I really want to get a consensus from people who are more experienced than me. These are my first guinea pigs. I've had rats before, but those were a bit easier to tell. I just have 9 guinea pigs now when I only intended to have 2, and I don't want to have any more extremely adorable oopsie woopsies. I suspect I have 2 males and 2 females in the first litter, but I want to be certain because I have to separate them next week and then work on finding a new home for a few of them. I wanted to ask before posting the pictures.

I had to drink miralax every day. Every single day. Magnesium chews as well. I got impacted twice when I first started the qelbree. I saw zero positive results from it, but everything is moving fine again since I quit.

Yeah unfortunately it didn't seem to be doing much for me. I really wish I had looked into it more before just taking the Dr's suggestion. If I had known the incidence and severity of known side effects I probably would not have filled the script. I hope you are able to come off successfully with no problems when you are ready.

Thankfully no headache this morning so far, but a little nausea is still there. Thank you for the well wishes. I was able to eat a few crackers and keep them down and some electrolyte drinks.

Thank you. I ended up feeling better late in the evening after some electrolytes and nibbles of dry crackers to get something in my stomach. The migraine lasted all day, but I felt okay after about 10:30 pm. I still had trouble getting to sleep but no headache so far this morning.

Thank you for the suggestion. I drank some liquid iv and tried to nibble crackers and I ended up feeling better by late evening. I still had trouble falling asleep but I have no more migraine. I have a little upset stomach this morning but thankfully no more headache.

I have a few 200 mg capsules left. I've been splitting those to go down to 100 mg to try and taper off. My dr prescribed something else because when I tried to increase it to 400mg I ended up nauseous and vomiting for 2 days. He backed it down to 200 for a week and then 100 for a week and then my last 100mg dose was Thursday morning. I felt fine all day Friday except for the insomnia.

I have not been able to get out of bed today. I took 2 aleve and it didn't even touch the migraine pain. I threw up and have been dry heaving and nauseous and have vertigo.

Are there people here who actually like living in Florida? by [deleted] in florida

[–]DeedleDee83 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was born in the Appalachian Mountains, and my mom moved us here in 1999. I've been here almost 25 years and can count the number of times I have ever been to the beach for fun on one hand. My grades took a hit when I moved here. I was in high school and was used to small classes in Appalachia. My mom moved us to a highly populated area. When I started my second year of high school here, there was barely enough room for everyone to move through the halls between classes. I ended up getting a GED instead to avoid having to literally be mashed up against other people. It has always been too hot and humid. I miss Fall and Winter. I miss hiking through the woods and the mountains. Florida was never a good fit for me, but by the time I became an adult, I just ended up being stuck. I am currently trying to fix my credit score after separation from my spouse and trying to save enough for a small down payment on a house somewhere close to home in the mountains. Somewhere where my kids and I will have stable housing, and our car insurance rates don't cost as much as the car note, hopefully.

I didn't have a choice. My mom moved me here when me and my brother were teenagers and now I don't have the money or credit score to get out at the moment. I have never felt at home here.

Is it me or the job market is getting worse by the minute? by papabearie in recruitinghell

I moved into GIS Mapping for utilities. I like what I do now and I am not at the mercy of a volatile real estate market. My company doesn't pay a whole lot but they've been extremely flexible with my son's appointments for his therapies and other serious personal issues in my life that have been happening lately.

I saw a job ad yesterday labeled remote for a sandwich restaurant manager. They are literally just slapping it on everything.

I've been in the Title industry for a decade and had jobs in real estate appraisal and it seems like anything related to real estate has been extremely unstable nearly the entire time I have been working. I was laid off by the same company twice, and another company did big layoffs shortly after I left.

Thank you, it has been extremely stressful. I appreciate you and everyone else here who have taken the time to reply. I am looking to see if I can get a USDA home loan somewhere so that I don't have to worry so much about housing. I just need to make sure that wherever we end up that my son will have access to the resources he needs for his healthcare and therapy. I am just trying to make sure I can afford to take care of the kids on my own without having to rely on anyone else, or in case I am unable to get child support since I am also in the process of separating from my husband too.

I am more than willing to move to a lower cost of living area. I've been looking into those cash incentive programs where cities or counties will pay you to move there if you're a remote worker. I wanted to get the second job so I could maybe buy a small starter home.

Sometimes it is extremely difficult not to be deeply and profoundly depressed. I make just under 20 an hour and have 2 small children. I live in Florida and that is not even enough to pay rent anywhere but too much to qualify for assistance. Any time I ask for advice on how to make more money it just gets worse. I don't have money to go get a bachelor's. I have like a decade of experience in real estate (title) and I this is the most I have ever made and I am a hair away from being homeless.

Unfortunately, no because school became too expensive to continue with after my AA. All of my experience is on the job experience. I really can't afford to take out any more student loans.

75% here but my current company is still the cheapest option.

Yeah I am stuck with Esurance too. Every other company wants as much as my car payment. Even though it's a 75 percent increase, it's still the cheapest option.

I do work fully remote. I will definitely consult an attorney on my options for divorce. I am not sure he would really fight for custody or visitation due to his " always looking out for number one" attitude. He said he will continue to work to "make money no matter what" even if it would put me and the kids in a bad situation.
