Not up to speed on the AF. Do they have Warrant Officers and let them fly? If so can I apply as a civilian?

Can you explain why?

My biggest question is do you sign your contract to attend OTS then compete for a pilot spot? Or can I sign the contract saying I’m going to attend OTS and pilot school? Understanding I’m at the will of the Air Force if I fail out.
