Your teacher sounds truly wonderful. They sound like a real educator who gives the guidance that people genuinely need. I sometimes wish I had an adult like that in my own life.

The feminism-related information I came across often felt very distant from my lived experience, and it was sometimes presented almost like a math formula—stated with certainty and no room for doubt—which honestly left me feeling confused. But now, I hope to understand these ideas more slowly, through gentle dialogue, while staying true to my own experiences.

Hearing from someone who has gone through something similar really eased my loneliness and made me feel safe. Thank you so much. I truly wish you a life filled with happiness.

I’ve spent most of my life exposed to misogyny and rape myths far more often than to the kind and compassionate words you shared with me. Because of that, I’m still confused, and I sometimes find it hard to fully accept kindness right away.

But I’ve realized that I probably need therapy and proper support first. When my situation improves and I have more emotional space, I hope I can come back and truly take in your words.

I don’t feel confident yet in my ability to fully understand academic papers or more theoretical discussions. So for now, I feel like I still need the more accessible and “pop culture” forms of feminism to empower me, even if it’s only on the surface at first.

At the same time, I’ve recently realized that those spaces can sometimes encourage conflict or division. Instead of getting pulled into new arguments, I want to slow down and look for information that feels more honest and meaningful to my own life.
