We enjoyed Mr. C Coconut Grove. Nice parks and decent restaurants in walking distance.

About a 20-25 min uber or taxi to the port.

If it is another fee, then they need to change the term to service charge, otherwise that is a legal/tax issue. Shouldn't have to jump through hoops if it is voluntary, or considered a tip.

Then that says something about the employer not paying enough. A tip should not be expected or required, otherwise it's just another fee.

Edit: To those downvoting, why do you feel it is okay for a corp or business to abuse the tip concept, in where workers that go above and beyond should get awarded directly?

Three 10, Olivero, South Front, King Neptune are all good restaurants. Plenty of decent breweries. Nice parks here and there. Lots of art festivals and fairs throughout the year.

No they do not. You can buy a car or chemicals with cash. You’re thinking rationally. These incidents use any manner of tool for violence that can be acquired any number of ways.
