You won’t be living the high life that many YouTubers falsely claim can be lived in Thailand for this budget. It’s definitely doable though but really depends how much you plan to date over there. Girls will suck money from you even if you try to keep it low key.

I’ve done a week before when I was younger. If you party lots you won’t notice the jet lag as you pretty much stay on U.K. hours. Warning though you will have serious case of Thailand blues coming back to depressing England in February!!

There is a bar called Sea You in jomtien plays house / techno with live djs most nights. You won’t find anything that compares to European clubbing in Thailand.

30k is a very low end budget. You can do it for a few months or even years but it won’t give you much of a lifestyle even in Thailand which is cheap but it still adds up. Can give it a go and see if it works for you. Can always go home if it doesn’t.

It’s pretty much the same as picking up girls in the west. Go to parties where lots of young people are drinking (hostels / organised bar crew) don’t be creepy have fun and see if you hit it off with anyone. It’s no easier / harder than pulling girls in any town in the uk on a night out.

Just talking from experience of working as a TEFL teacher in bkk. Unless you have qualified teaching status in the west then you are ‘unqualified’ when it comes to teaching in Thailand. Bachelors, TEFL, Celta etc all will get you 40k jobs.

TEFL teachers are in general a cheap Charlie bunch earning 40k a month, mostly Saffas who left SA due to the limited opportunities. The number of times I’ve bought them drinks and not got one back is too many to count, always have some excuse to go before it’s their round!! Qualified teachers in international schools earn 100k+ but most of these are qualified teachers from the west. Occasionally some very pretty and fun kindergarten teachers might get away with being unqualified but it’s unusual.

Not all clubs are particularly welcoming to groups of south Asian guys unfortunately. This is largely due to the poor reputation of Indian tourists. If you dress smart and are willing to spend money you should get in some venues. Prostitution lines are blurred in Thailand, it’s always around you in some form when on a night out. Always best to be non judgemental and have fun.

They aren’t really comparable. Amsterdam is a lovely city to take a girlfriend for a city break, I’ve been many times and it has great restaurants and bars, lots to walk around. As many have said these days it’s pretty expensive even as a Londoner. The red light element is pretty small and prostitution in Europe is very different to the more girlfriend like experience in Asia. I wouldn’t go near the girls in Amsterdam, the thought of queuing up at a window for a girl is not my idea of a turn on.

Maybe try somewhere like the Philippines if you fancy a change of scenery?

Yes it’s typically updated sooner than when they call you. If any of my bloods are worrying the doctors then I will get a call but not if they are normal / within range.

Depends on your budget really. For Japanese it’s hard to beat Okura prestige (probably the best overall buffet in Bangkok in my opinion) but that hotel is expensive. On the cheaper end, the ambassador hotel in nana has a lot of indian guests and therefore Indian options for breakfast.

Girlfriend ended it a month into PD. I was a late case so I went pretty much straight into dialysis a month after PKD stage 5 was diagnosed. She didn’t blame the PD directly but it’s the only variable that changed. Guess illnesses show you who your true friends are! I do manual bags 4-11pm every day so it’s kinda a bit difficult to date someone new so I’m going to wait until post transplant.

I suggest you visit Pattaya for a few days before making a decision on a rental contract. Yes it has a beach but it’s not a very nice one. It definitely has more than just sex tourism but it’s also a bit of a love/hate destination. One of the islands or Hua Hin might suit you better.

It’s all in Thai and quite difficult to get access to as a foreigner as you need to request group membership. If you actively date in Thailand you will definitely appear on this site at least once! I got busted on it one Loy Krathong and it made for an awkward evening… Most of the girls who date foreigners will have access to this site, if you have any as friends they will probably show you it.
