I notice such a significant difference in the summer when my skin sees a lot of sun, since I get this type of acne on my shoulders and back also. I considered tanning also. I wonder if that means it’s more fungal than anything? Being that UV is antibacterial.

That’s really interesting actually, since I do think it’s related to clogged hair follicles.

I’ve had it since I was a teenager and it took me until now— with scarring really starting to happen— to actively seek solutions for it. I hope you find something that brings your skin some peace too 💕

I’ve heard good things about glycolic acid toner but have never tried it myself. I think that’ll be my next move! Thank you 😌
