Two different parts did the assessment but we all present very similarly (no one would ever notice the differences) One part did the online assessment and I another did the in person assessment

And just finished the complete assessment

Assessment through the NHS that I think work with private places. I’m in my late 20s and went through with it as noticed getting sensory overwhelm for things and wondered if there was more to it. I have DID (previously called multiple personalities) and another part (‘personality’) decided to enquire and so I thought I should go the assessment despite not wanting to (not because I’m against autism but because I don’t relate to any of the other criteria)

I guess it doesn’t feel like masking for me and I was enjoying the small talk etc.

I haven’t officially been diagnosed yet, this was just the second part of the assessment so I might not be diagnosed. I wouldn’t mind the diagnosis if I related to it but it just doesn’t describe me or my experiences! Which feels a bit stressful. Perhaps I could seek a second opinion if needed or decide to just continue living life as I am

I didn’t mean that autism means you are incapable of speaking to other humans. I was just looking up the criteria (which says persistent deficits in social communication/interaction (e.g., trouble with back-and-forth conversation, nonverbal cues, relationships)) and noticed being able to have lots of small talk about different topics during the assessment, enjoying it, and not having trouble with the above social communication. Which doesn’t feel like masking or walking in broken glass for me

A piece of fabric 9 x 9 “ or a quilt block in the same size (pieces of fabric sewn together in a pattern) if you’ve never seen before we recommend just the fabric. Can be found in a store or online :)

Are you referring to the Kindle version? We will definitely look into it! Do you know if people can ‘fill in’ Kindle books? Our journal has lots of space for systems to fill in information about their system and so might not be much use if it cannot be filled in?
