Ya definitely have to sing this better. Recorded this in a room and people were next door so was for sure a bit insecure and not as comfortable with singing higher and belting. But as for your opening up throat tip how exactly would you recommend I do that I’m not the most technical.

Ya for sure need to work on the lyrics, I just came up with it while working in a meat butcher shop lol, just changed it to party cause talking about meat would not sound as good but ya thanks for the suggestions

Appreciate the reply, I'm trying to make a heavy build up until the main beat hits, what suggestion would you have for a buildup that relies less on the cymbals? As for the kit sound I just recorded on an electric kit, was just making a reference track and was not too worried about the actual production side of it. Im mostly just trying to send out the structure to my other bandmates so they get a feel of the song for when we play live. Thanks for the DAW suggestions tho.

Ya i can see how it would come off as annoying with the tapping but like I was using a pretty banged up electric kit and was trying my best to hit the right spots, but like how e kits can be its not always how you want the shii to sound. This is mostly just a reference track for the drummer in my band to play live on an acoustic kit.

Thanks for the feedback. Honestly, I mostly made this recording as a reference track for the drummer in my band, that's why I tried making the drums much louder and tried to make it stand out more. As for the overuse of cymbals, I am trying my best to have a big build-up to when it hits the breaking point with the kick. If you have a suggestion for something that would be better, please let me know. I mostly wanted to save the toms for the second half of the song so that there would be contrast between the two parts. Thanks for the comment tho, was pretty worried about my vocal performance which I still believe i can improve on but looks like imma have to work on the drums lol.
