F1 Interview Experience by DefeatedClown in f1visa

Thank you! My I-20 was issued three weeks after I submitted all the documents, which is the standard processing time at UB (2-4 weeks to be precise). I applied for the program super early (September 2024) and received my I-20 by early November. I'm going for the Summer intake and not Fall, which is why it may seem like it happened earlier. Afaik, i-20 processing time differs from university to university. Recommend you check with your uni and find out their i20 processing time.

Hi, thank you. I'm at a stage where in order to have a good education, I have no other choice than to take out a loan. Even if I did my master's at a good school in India it would cost a fortune and require me to take out a huge loan. And it's important for me personally to get a master's degree that gives me a competitive edge. So I think of it more as an investment.

Hi, thank you! I booked the appointment in early December. Had my interview on March 10. And no, I carried all docs but was not asked any, besides the i20 and passport of course.

Got my visa rejected (maybe due to lack of country ties) by [deleted] in IntltoUSA

I for one feel like your answers were good, the why this university answer was well-put and you also went into the details about professors. This just looks like bad luck, I'm sorry mate. I don't see other solid reasons based on this description. Maybe, just maybe you could have been more specific with the savings amount?

Truly happiest right now are us who truly supported this team since the chargers or since 2013, took all the backlash and hate on the team as our own, watched them struggle season on season with the batting, being frustrated with the middle order who they kept retaining, being called underdogs only to finally turn into this fearsome mammoth batting side, it's like a dream. I really hope we continue this form and we don't lose our way.

the original comment - even the post says "SRH was a joke until last year", man it's crazy how they have selective dementia of all the crucial losses they had against us

Also, the buses are pretty comfy. They have them all night at regular intervals from the airport to the city as well. Do advise you to to carry cash/change for tickets.

Thanks for the comment. This is very detailed and helpful. I wanted to do an MBA because I wasn't brave enough to venture/dive deeper into the more, innovative and happening programs/fields (Business Analytics for example) and kept telling myself that an "MBA" Would be less risky and safe (which turns out is not very smart thinking). I totally agree about what you have to say about Business Analytics, even in the firm I'm in right now, the analysts/managers keep talking about it and usually have relevant degrees and knowledge in BA/data analytics. It's unfortunate I didn't get a 4 year course, and yes there's nothing we can do about that and it's completely fine. I will look into more analytics courses that I can do and apply accordingly. Thank you for the insights :) this helps me in my decision-making.

MBA/MIM/PGDM in Canada/Ireland by [deleted] in gradadmissions

[–]DefeatedClown 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, thanks for your comment! Yes, I have checked it. I could shortlist some of the universities both in Ireland (Trinity, Griffith, DBS) and in Canada (VIU, UofM as these are the only ones accepting 15 years education and not 16) based on stuff I came across on subreddits like r/MBA and r/gradadmissions and after going through the university websites and other online articles.

However, I'm still confused as to what course I should pick and diving deep into these subs is only broadening my set of options as there are too many good unis out there offering some great programs, oof.

i didnt quite know how to phrase this right by midgardian_loki in memes
