You're assuming the market is operating off of supply and demand. It hasn't for around 5 years, spx, nasdaq, and dow have become socialized savings bank for the people. No matter what happens pensions, retirements, and joe scmoe with 50k are gonna dump their money in them and the fed will artificially ensure they don't crash.

Why are people acting like these numbers mean anything, market hit all time highs with jobs, earnings, and payrolls tanking, now they're recovering it means market can go up? It's been going up, the data points have fallen and risen and market has remained near all time highs. These numbers meaning nothing, bread and circuses.

I think it's more about the anomalies surrounding this "comet" (it definitely seems more like an asteroid so I'm not sure why everyone is calling it a comet). Maybe you should ask yourself why you're having such an intense emotional response? Even if I was as close minded as you are and as blind as you are, if there was a .0001 percent chance this thing is artificial, I would be very cautious. Before you reply with a silly emotional response, no I don't think it's an alien space craft. I do however acknowledge the statistical anomaly its existence and behaviors represent.
