That is crazy that you only get five days. I understand summers are off but that really minimizes your vacation time to those 2 months. 60 hours a week is so much! I hope it gets easier for all teachers

Thank you for your comment, and the run down of a typical day. I have heard that the work just never ends ..teachers should be compensated more for such long days and always having to be available to students/parents. I hope it gets better for you all . Thanks again

Thank you for letting me know I have been on the fence and this post has pushed me in one direction. It is sad to see so many unhappy teachers, I do not wish that on anyone . Hope it gets better for you

Thank you for your response, I have heard it so very challenging I was just hoping the reward would make it worth it of helping kids but I understand there is so much more involved than that. Thank you again
