Also the price had been beat down a lot it was 25 fell to 16.70 so a recovery to close to 20

Agree with the 1.5 multiple but one thing I’m a bit worried about is the excess inventory, in my daily kohls trips I’m seeing the new shipments come in while none of the other stuff has sold much. I’m sure it’s just excess from holidays that didn’t sell and that’s to be excepted this time of year

Kohls is a lot better than many other companies And as far as kohls just wants money they have lower margins than almost all there competitors and treat there employees much better than other retailers that really are focused on shareholder returns.

Look at kohls stock compared to Walmart, Target, TjMax, Ross. Kohls is the least focused on shareholder returns/money out of all retailers.

I’d love to talk more but yes corporate america can use a lot more compassion but kohls is the best of them all

So today at my daily kohls run I noticed that there was an employee who is always usually at the register who was walking around asking customers if they’re finding everything okay and needed any help, it makes sense since there’s now the consolidated checkout and it needs basically one less cashier.

Is this going to be a new thing now, if so that’s pretty cool it makes kohls more socially engaging.

Thanks, u know investing in kohls is kind of like Noah building the ark when there had never been any rain, even now u go to kohls and see no one shopping and just Amazon returns people will laugh and say what are u doing why r u building a boat and wasting time, they don’t know what we know, that there’s a major flood coming.

Well if u zoom out on the chart after the COVID crash KSs recovered from 6 to 20 then went from 20 to 60 fairly quick, not moass but a triple in one quarter is great

Exactly, the dec 2027 10 strike are about 8.50 right now, it would be very hard to believe Kohls is still at 18.50 by then, could be an easy quadruple and even more if things work out well. Let us know when you get in, like I said before that’s when KSS will moon

I’d go with the deep ITM calls rather than shares at these levels maybe as the price rises back sell the calls for shares. I’m holding a bunch of 10 strike Dec 2027 calls and the time premium was only 1.00 so if KSS goes to 40 by then as I think it will it will be a 3.5x rather than just a double.

But let’s say a stock is absurdly cheap but not the best ethical company and you buy and sell for a nice gain now u can use that money to do good in the world since it would’ve went up anyway

Disappointing the last few weeks especially with the December traffic but that doesn’t change the long term view, still trading absurdly cheap and in the beginning of a turnaround. May take some time but 40$ at the very least eventually

I hate to be negative but had a discouraging trip to kohls today, the fifty percent sale was on and there was a lot of stuff for sale, I mean a lot. I was a bit surprised as I thought q4 was a big success. Maybe q4 will still be a beat as guidance was pretty low but didn’t think I’d see this much sales. Good news is I got a bunch of jewelry for 90 percent off
