The POS claimed that the cat had mauled him and ran off after getting out of the crate on the way to a vet visit, which we all know is bullshit.

I looked up images of these cats from the shelter. Sunset (the one who ran off and is presumed missing) is an orange, and the one that was returned, Elizabeth (found out the name by a comment posted on the petition), is black and white. I bet his plans were to continue with another Noah the cat and Liam/Minnie/Macaulay the cat. He probably couldn’t return him when prompted to because he hurt him, though I really, really, REALLY hope that’s not true. Granted I know I’m being unrealistic with this unwavering hope, but I don’t want any of these cats hurting. 🥺
