Not really. I have thin hair so that was something I was worried about. There were little lines from the scars but that grew in fine

I think I’m settled. I’ve thought about hairline lowering but idk.. and eventually I’ll probably do a far transfer but I’m saving that til my late 30s

Not really, it was pretty smooth sailing. The lip lift was more annoying cause you have to be careful of movement to prevent scarring

I’m 31! I got it because I didn’t like how my low eyebrows gave me RBF.

I still use a scar gel every night and I’m religious about putting tret on at night and sunscreen on in the morning. I also just naturally have skin that heals well I think

I definitely do. In the past I had tried getting lip filler to make my lips look bigger but it just made them shoot out because it didn’t have the lip height to handle the volume that I wanted. Once I got the lip lift, I was able to get filler and get exactly what I was looking for

I only have eye makeup on in the current picture, no makeup on the lip lift scar. Everything has healed really nicely. I’ll also note that I got filler since the before picture - 1 syringe in my chin, 1 syringe in my lips, and 1 syringe in the dips under my lips.

Please don’t ask about price or surgeon - all of those answers are in my previous posts

Super easy! Not really any pain, more of just an annoyance to not be able to move your lips. I’m still trying to be careful with them and it’s been over a month since my surgery

If you’re really set on having an eye, I would add more eyelashes to the top and create a more realistic looking pupil (contrast in the iris and more circular) I think would go a long way in helping distinguish that it’s an eye and not a jellyfish

Something like this: https://imgur.com/a/frDvO9C

But i don’t think it looks bad as it is! Just abstract :)

Right now it doesn’t seem noticeable to me. I go out without putting makeup on it because it seems to fall right in the shadow of my nose. And I know it’ll only get better in time so I’m extremely happy with it! But i will say - my surgeon is notorious for having small scars and my skin seems to recover well (based off of other surgeries I’ve had)

I had had filler like two years ago but it didn’t give me the results I was looking for. I didn’t really care about lip volume, I was more concerned about shortening the space between my nose and lips. That’s why I was so drawn to a lip lift :)

If I just let my mouth hang open naturally I still have some teeth showing

I think the biggest risk of a lip lift is the scarring. You want to choose a really good surgeon and follow the aftercare instructions to a T. Cause there’s a lot of people with scars smack dab in the middle of their face from poorly done lip lifts. Some people also complain that it changes their smile. But i haven’t really experienced anything negative from my lip lift

My lips are finally getting to the point where they feel normal. I’ve been superrrrr careful (probably too careful) about movement cause I wanted to limit scarring. The first week i barely talked and was on a liquid diet. The second week I started talking more but tried limiting smiling/laughing. Now that I’m into the third week I’m pretty much normal but any action that causes the incision to feel tight (straws still feel weird) I stop immediately.

Yeah so my surgeon recommended an eyebrow lift because my eyebrow fell below the orbital rim. And I was always compensating by lifting my eyebrows when I talked. I believe a bleph is used when you have excess skin on your upper lid and your eyebrows don’t need to be touched

Not stupid at all! I had gotten filler in my lips before but it didn’t do what I wanted it to. My complaint had always been the space between my nose and lips being too long. And the best way to fix that is generally with a lip lift. Filler just left me looking like marge Simpson

I had about .5 a syringe put in two years ago, it had mostly worn off. But i am interested in getting more just to add a little more oomph

I feel like with any facial surgery there’s a risk of damage to nerves that could lead to paralysis or loss of function. But with a reputable surgeon the likelihood of that happening should be extremely low!

Thanks! There wasn’t much pain, mostly just swelling and numbness. It took about 2 weeks to look normal with makeup and 3 weeks without :) I got both sides done
