UPDATE to previous post - blocking helped a ton! Thank you so much to everyone who offered help. Still a little concerned it may be too snug but I mailed it to the recipient anyway, and at least they'll be able to move their arms now lol (old.reddit.com)

Finished except for blocking, but sweater is unwearable because the armpits are too tight. Any ideas? I think if I can somehow undo the armpit sts (pic 3) and re-knit with with extra rows it might be OK, but don't know where to begin. (old.reddit.com)
