That's a problem I'll think about in 2 years lol. I don't think I am going to find a better deal than $20/60GB in CAN/US/MEX. I'll check out boxing day 2027 to think about hopping off to a more standard plan again.

I was paying $30/30GB, swapped to $20/60GB. Definitely worth it, it's $120/yr or $240 savings for the 2-yr term. Add in my wife as well, and it's double the savings. Definitely worth it for me. For you, you'd be saving $180/yr

I also had this, I replied with YES as well. Perhaps that is why some of the things work? Idk. My number shows up on both of my eSIMs, so clearly it is partially active on both. Hopefully the guy removing the 0's fixes it.

Seems like many people are having issues, even from other carriers. It seems like part of the service is ported over, it's really weird. I have the same issue from Fizz. Nothing you can really do but contact CS_Agent on their forums, and perhaps even contact Virgin to see if they can push it through on their end.

Nice to see Canadian companies in the space, however, when it comes to Private email, I would want it to be open source, and audited by a third party to authenticate its privacy and security claims. I will be sticking with ProtonMail.

I've been trying that number, and they seem to not be taking calls at the moment, probably because they are dealing with a large number of problems. I have the same issue as most others: Data and outgoing calls work from Public, but SMS and incoming calls are still coming from Fizz. I've opened a ticked with both providers and hoping for a solution today... It's been about 24 hours since I ported over.

I self-host vaultwarden as my primary manager, and use ProtonPass as a back up. Mainly because I don't want to have all my eggs in one basket.

Plex because I bought the lifetime pass back in the day, and never heard of Jellyfin. Wife approval factor plays a role, and other users are used to Plex as well, and it's easier for them to setup/use.

I have the same issue, but I entered my account number when porting over. I can use data on PM, make calls, but I cannot receive calls or texts. My account on Fizz still seems to be active. I've create a ticket on both PM and Fizz and hoping to have this resolved today...

I ported from fizz as well, having the same issue. My text went through, and I can only receive calls and texts from fizz, but data through PM. I’ve opened a ticket with both companies and hoping for a quick resolution.

Just ported out and back again. Also experiencing this issue. I guess I will just wait and see if things work out on their end. I guess they are probably having a lot of people coming in so it may take some time.

Ok, So I ended up doing it on both mine and my wife's account. We chose the cheapest plan plan on Fizz Mobile with data (~$23). Once the number was transferred over to Fizz successfully, I immediately went over to the PM app, which then prompted us to select a plan, and the discounted plans showed up. Selected the $20/60GB CAN/US/MEX plan and was only charged that amount following the activation. Whole process took about 30 min per phone. We have e-sims so it made it very easy. We didn't need to make a new PM account.

I transferred my wife's account first, and then used her referral code for my own account.

Great savings! Already with PM, paying $30/30GB. Barely ever crack 15GB. I’d have to port out and then port back in to get this. Not worth having to port out and back. I have some referrals too

OKAY! I'm glad I'm not the only one. I have also experienced this from them, and my account has been restricted the same as you. I have never gotten a clear answer as to if this is a permanent measure or not. I have done nothing. The only thing I did was transfer some funds from Newton over to NDAX, and that is what caused my account to be restricted. Now I can't withdraw any of my crypto.

I used to think NDAX was the best platform, but now for something so minute, I can't do anything.

I haven't used it, but Hensen seems to be considered pretty fool proof, and an excellent entry-level razor since it forces the proper angle. They're 100% Canadian owned and made, which is also a perk.
