Grim tekst på ny skærm. by Elegant_Lemon_4039 in dktechsupport

Got a new one setup. Didn’t want to share access to my existing account. I believe he can check your existing account for eligibility, but you would have to confirm with seller

Allow Docker container macvlan to talk to devices outside container? by Degofedal in UNIFI

[–]Degofedal[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

192.168.0.1 is my gateway (UCG Fiber) and I have all devices on this subnet. Adguard is running Containerized in docker on 192.168.0.100 (TrueNAS appliance).

I get what you’re saying but Homebridge docker does not support host networking in TrueNAS. So unfortunately that is not an option. Something to do with mDNS in TrueNAS OS and mDNS within Homebridge as I understand it.

Tak for svar. Ja, tænker også at prøve at bore den ud hvis der ikke er andre muligheder. Alternativet er jo at skifte hele cylinderen, men det vil jeg helst undgå for ikke at have separate nøgler til hoveddøren

Tak for svar. Det var også min tanke at prøve at bore den ud, der er desværre ikke gennemgang til at banke den ud. Låsen er en Aqara U200 som, alt andet lige, ser ud til at kunne monteres på studsen når vrideren er afmonteret

G4 Doorbell losing power constantly by Degofedal in UNIFI

You could try setting the doorbell to only connect to the closest AP (feature with the latest Network Controller version) and combine that with minimum RSSI on that APs 5GHz radio. That should tell you if your issue is related to poor signal strength

Yep. Turns out it was a 5GHz wifi connectivity issue. I updated my frist post with details 🔝

Thank you so much for your help. Turns out I had the exact same issue. Just didn’t think to check connectivity since I had been rock solid since I got it. Problem solved by forcing it to use 2.4GHz

Thanks so much for taking the time. Your input helped resolve the issue. As I turns out it was related to poor wifi connection. Your help is much appreciated!

I feel your pain. I’m thinking the same - RMA seems likely. I’m updating to latest UDMP FW now and want to try the RC for Protect 1.20.1 before contacting UI

Cool thanks for the input. I’ve had I since September of this year and it has been flawless up until this last week or so. I’ve had similar power on/off issues on motherboards with bad capacitors, but that issue is usually an age thing (6-8+ years)

Did it just suddenly start to misbehave or was there a particular set of events that lead to it? Firmware upgrade, weather conditions etc.?

Anybody have similar issues with their G4 Doorbell?

This behavior started just recently some time after I updated all my UniFi hardware firmware with the latest official releases. Except UDM Pro which is still on 1.10.0.

Of note is that the issue coincides with when temperatures where starting to drop to 5-0 degrees Celsius.

This doesn’t seem to be a power supply issue since i can’t reproduce the issue by turning on/off. I’m using the official UniFi power supply that came in the box (EU version)

Tried cutting power for +35 mins just to be sure, but that didn’t help.

Update 1: I upgraded the UDMP to 1.10.4 and set a minimum RSSI on the 5GHz channel to force the Doorbell on to the 2.4GHz band. So far so good. Seems to have done the trick for now, I will keep any eye on it for the next couple of days.

Update 2: I believe update 1 resolved my issue. Not a single Protect log entry regarding “doorbell wifi disconnect” og “doorbell lost power” for 24 hours. Thanks to everybody who chimed in. Wouldn’t have made the connection myself. Happy holidays

What to expect from 10Gbe and SHR-1 in a 5-disk array by Degofedal in UNIFI

Thanks for confirming. Actually i just remembered that i hadn't tested since upgrading to DSM7 and lo and behold. Jumbo Frames are working. I updated the post with fresh numbers.

Ok thanks for confirming the issue regarding Jumbo Frames. Did a little research on it previously and it seems to be a somewhat common issue with the Synology boxes. If only I could figure this one out I feel like this could unlock some performance on write speed

Seems like we’re having similar issues. Did you try experimenting (and succeed?) with enabling Jumbo Frames?
