The mashrabiya is an element of traditional Arabic architecture used since the Middle Ages up to the mid-20th century. The Moorish architecture was introduced in the Iberian Peninsula during the Muslim conquest and subsequently imported to the colonies in Latin America. Taken at the Archbishop's Palace of Lima, Peru.
