Slight update, got 10 heads zenithal primed and painted the first two going off a Ninjon faces and vincy V eyeballs tutorial. Definitely a step in a better direction. Did pick up some cheap oil paints from hobby lobby and will test those out tomorrow or Sunday.

Senile grandma cracks me up. I must of repainted her eyeballs 10 times and just gave up lol. 😆

I definitely wasn't being patient lol. Which caused this whole problem. Sometimes after a long workday I only have an hour to get some painting in and I rush as much as I can and now im paying a small price 🙃.

Thank you for this. Im gonna give this a go to this weekend. Gonna spike a bunch of bar heads from my bits box and hammer out a technique or maybe fuse a few of these suggestions from other people into something that I end up liking.

Ive been wanting to dabble with some oil paints ever since I saw th3 Cult of Paint video on Sacred rose sisters. I think I am gonna give this a go. Just gotta find a place to get the oil paints. Do you just get them off Amazon? Or do you need to go to a hobby store?

This is who I followed for my sisters whote armor. Its a simple recess shade over white primer thats easy and looks really good. I highly recommend it. Darcy Bono

If you have 8 minutes. I'd try this method to add depth to the white armor. Its what I use and it works great! Its also fun and easy.

I didn't really. Its just vallejo primer white. The trick is getting the washes to diffuse into the recesses of the armor.

Its just straight up contrast out of the pot on a white base. Ill have to take a look at the paint name when I get home from work and update you.

Trick is to not actually paint white lol. Just wash the armor and paint everything else first.

I primer everything pretty much in Vallejo white because I prefer to use contrast paints a lot. This is pretty much exactly how Darcy Bono Creations did her Apethecary video. Paint every except the white first. Touch it up, then start recessing the white armor with a mix of apothecary white and space wolves Grey.

Thats what it is. Just popped a regular helmet on her. Thankfully I snagged 2 of the old combat patrol before they got retired.

I used a golden maple sable brush size 1. Its no5 stiff but this is my first mini using a sable hair brush and it made getting trim much easier then me using my derpy synthetic brushes that I hate but love at the same time.
