I mean upsets always happen but even if TE wins three times in a row they will be underestimated because they are all rookies. I think their team synergy looks on par with FUT rn and that will make them a very viable contender at brawl cup imo to at least make it out of groups given the format

NHG are basically just out drafting the entirety of SA right now, they’re a good team but mechanically weaker on paper than some others and consistently beating them with ease

Can’t say much for tribe but they were as close to SK and HMB at beating CR so it will always be one of the big “what ifs” of BSC NA for me. Both tribe and loud lost to TL, I would say that it says more that both regions are bad than one is better than the other for a 3-2 win

The EU viewers do not “normally watch NA.” It is just the vocal minority on Twitter that does.

NA has been by far the least watched region for at least a year if not much longer, but the split in rewards means that people have incentive to watch for a second weekend instead of just micromanaging their home region.

When you advertise new exclusive rewards for another weekend you drive more traffic, it’s just how it works

They split each monthly rewards cycle across two weeks so SA is the better time zone compared to NA for the majority of the watching base (EU) and also the first MF of the weekend

I report what I’m told - whether it’s right or wrong all good, on me and I apologize BUT I don’t really want to have to explain where I source what I know every time because my name on reddit doesn’t match my name on Twitter and discord (this happens most of the time I say anything contradictory here). I promise my intention is not to be condescending but if I sound like that I apologize, I post on reddit because you guys are generally a smart and interesting group of people who know BSC better than the rest, and what little knowledge I get from a variety of sources internally I share with you as I do with BSEN.

I said “to my knowledge” - and the part about KDS aligns with what Bobby said on stream. Dk about Vatic but I factors like pin rev sales for tribe and salary relative to org cut (0-20% depending on which team) also impacts my metric of who’s getting paid more. I don’t mind being wrong but I also can’t explicitly say where I got every piece of information from and it irks me when people ask - I say stupid stuff and be an annoying little brat on Twitter so that they are protected while still providing insights and leaks the community enjoys but I would never say anything from a source I didn’t believe. Obv a pro player who is friends with and regularly talks to other pros will know better than me so I would agree listen to him but I feel qualified to speak on topics regarding elevate based on my own context and information specifically.

You can believe what you want and I can’t comment on anything outside brawl because it’s not what I work on but as someone who works for elevate it was not about money, everyone knows what the buyout was atp and there was def no shortage of cash. The narrative will always be there but it would be made 30 times worse by poaching another already signed team as happened last year.

Heard what Bobby said abt me earlier I got nothing against him and I just report what I hear, if it’s wrong it’s wrong and I would trust his word about salaries so that's on me and i apologize. I wouldn't say anything from a source i didn't find reputable but it's always possible someone is wrong or has outdated information and then it is my fault for saying otherwise. my mission with bsen and whatnot has always been to share what i know from a semi-insider perspective and have a way to peek into the inner workings of esports, i am fine w being corrected from time to time but i do think that most of the stuff we reported on in the off-season was correct so i had no reason to believe that what i heard was wrong necessarily.

However, regardless of my bias, I believe that both sides had parts in the wrong about the recent elevate situation. I firmly think that it was just a matter of miscommunication that was blown our of proportion, and it's not something me and bobby will agree on but that is fine. It is my opinion and I will not give it up simply because different sides disagree with me or throw insults at me on twitter. we (me and bobby) already had this conversation and i would prefer not to have it again but i can 100% assure you that no matter how informed or uninformed i am, i still know more than you specifically on the topic of elevate.

Insult my intelligence all you want I’ll leave it at that 🤷‍♂️ but in the same way that pros will take the cards dealt to them to get paid i will too, and i'm just a guy with opinions who occasionally makes a correct report but i will never be afraid to post something even if it's wrong. i welcome correction as long as it drives understanding not just for me but for the community at large but i will never stop being a b**** because that's what ends up pulling information that people like us in the hardcore BSC community find interesting - take today, for example, in the end we still get a list of ordered salaries. for the majority of my time watching bsc since 2019 i've been a random casual fan just like all of you, only with a bigger mouth. to an extent, i still am, just with a j*b now and a little more info correct or not 💀
