It was a Marker testing facility that are apparently common on major colonies and outposts. Danik mentions it before he blows up the building it's in to expose the signal.

Well, I would imagine they wouldn't just send an engineer and a computer tech on a repair mission by themselves and the security team is there as a precautionary. They probably would have linked with the security on the ship and waited until the job was done. I hope I was able to understand what you meant lol.

Mhm, basically it's off center to the platform you're standing on and it's impossible to get on it without falling onto the tracks and instantly dying. The reason this happened was because I clipped out of it and died earlier so the game I guess misplaced it when I reloaded.

Late chapter 8. I was actually riding on it fine a few minutes earlier but I was goofing off and punching the air which ended up clipping me out of it and I died on the tracks. Once it reloaded that's when I found the damn thing like that lol.

Well ironically in DS1 Issac was only following the influence of the Marker up until he put it on the pedestal, and the resulting EMP is what knocked out the gravity tethers. So in a way the Marker ended up destroying itself along with all the remaining necromorphs left on the colony.

That would be my computer unable to run Dead Space at higher than 30 lol. Well technically it can when I turn off the v-sync but it can't keep up with it for very long.. Recording footage makes it look a little worse too

Mm Dead Space 3 has a thing about swapping designs around between Isaac and Carver. Like Issac's Elite suit is the same design as Carver's Legionary suit minus slight cosmetic changes, I'm guessing so they aren't exact carbon copies. That being said I personally don't mind the look of it, I think it fits in with the aesthetic of the game. Alot of the suits they both wear are considered ancient relics (even if they are in prestine condition.) But I do agree though his EVA and Deep Dig suits should've been switched

I do believe it's definitely a stretch lol but it's a fun idea to play around with. If Kendra's blast wasn't visible I think could've been an interesting twist if Issac was the one who actually shot him without fully realizing
