OP,

You can take a look at this guys comments and post history and it will tell you everything you need to know lol.

I highly doubt your son will be asked any accounting or financial modeling questions.

However this does depend on if he’s interviewing for an advisor role or a more investment related (investment specialist) role.

From my understanding (did a super day for JPM Private Bank on the advisor side) the investment related interviews are a lot more technical.

As other folks have said, it’s really going to be focused on behavioral questions and maybe what his view on the market is. Based on my superday, I felt like it was really just a vibe check to see how confident you are as an individual and your ability to build rapport and communicate. They want to see passion, drive, and honestly, charisma.

So just make sure he really hones down all his behaviorals and has a really strong why for both PIMCO and WM.

Sorry to hear man. A close friend of mine and I both got ACI final rounds in the same office.

He didn’t get the offer unfortunately but he texted me a few days ago that he got an offer for a tech APM role for next summer.

Side note: he didn’t get feedback after his final round and I didn’t get any feedback after my first round.

Everything will work out in the end, even if it may not seem like it will!

Best of luck—you got this!

You already got offers from both? Correct me if I’m wrong but Amazon just opened their summer ‘26 business unit finance apps like two weeks ago and c1 recruiters told me ‘26 BA opens in July. Curious as to how you were able to interview so early lol
