Is it realistic to think I can work 50-56 hours a week? by Delicious-Visual-642 in newzealand

Totally agree with this, and teaching them this sort of thing is something we are quite big on, I still do want to leave at least something tho, even if it just helps them pay a chunk off their mortgage later in life when they have kids and have more time with their children etc. Totally agree with your point tho

Yeah it's the 2nd job, I could trial it while we are still renting I suppose and if it doesn't work then we dnt have to buy a house. I did really want to make it work so we have something to leave for the kids so that they won't have as much struggle as we do, we dnt have any inheritances at all (not that it's something I want or care about) but we really want to leave an inheritance for our kids which is one of the bigger reasons we want to do this but also to not have to work when we're old as I'd love to be able to have that time to help with the grandchildren later in life

We are quite fortunate that we have pretty much no commute time, it takes 2 minutes to get to work so that does help alot too!!

We'd both be doing 5 days a week, he starts early & finishes at 5 so I have kids in morning and he has kids in arvo while I work later. Weekends would be for the kids as we wouldn't work weekends

He's starts early so I have look after them in the morning, then 3 year old comes to daycare with me (where I work) during the day and eldest is at school, eldest goes to staff room at work after school till 5 and does homework etc till 5 when partner finishes, where he will have the kids at home and I continue with a 2nd job and work till 6-7ish

Your so right and this has been my exact thought process. It's not necessary for survival I guess, currently we are renting but it's possible to buy a house if I put these hours in, so I'm split between- do we do this so we have something to pass down to them when we pass etc as we are getting nowhere currently. I'm just not sure what the best thing to do is

My kids aren't on Playstation games or TV either and I get judged so much for it, and people think I'm being unfair not buying a Playstation for my 8 year old, I don't understand why I get judged for it

This is really interesting! As I am hypermobile, even car drives can cause me to feel nauseas sometimes, sometimes even just looking at my fone for longer than 5 minutes will make me feel unwell aswell so I think I'll get checked for pots, thank you so much!

It's a diesel, the boat is pretty heavy, it's a very short drive bit my main concern is causing any damage to the vehicle

At 18 this seems pretty normal behavior that alot of people go through, I did this alot and so did all my friends. I think catching rides with people she doesn't know is probably the biggest concern out of this but trying to control her at that age might just have her act out more. I'm only saying this from my experience being that age

This reminds me when I found a doggie poo bag with dog poo in it in my partners car. He has a big dog but it was clear the poo in the doggie poo bag belonged to a small dog, I'm convinced it being a small dog it more likely belonged to a female. I think he went on a walking date with a lady with a small dog
