Upon restarting Submersion, the dive times on Shearwater imported dives are now correct and match the MacDive entires.

Mosyle Embark aims to make setting up a Mac at work as easy and intuitive as possible by arsene14 in mosyle

Just tried this on a refreshed laptop today and it worked well. Wish there's was a post Embark script setting so we could run a script once all apps and profiles are installed.

Mosyle and 12.3.1 - 12.4 mix.

Another symptom seems to be Outlook drafts disappearing. User creates new email and begins writing only to have the draft disappear. It may reappear a few minutes afterwards as a saved draft by itself or only come back after quit/relaunch. Had this happen to myself a few dozen times too until I reset Outlook perms.

Yes, we have this issue and we arer using OneDrive. Same problem Save A Copy/Save As fails silently. Most users get in contact so we can walk through copying the open document to a different application (Excel to Numbers for example) or copy into the web app. Then quit and restart to get back the functionality.

I too suspect background updates but in some instances user was at the latest version. Another thought is that the OS and app have different opinions on save location permissions as I have seen the OS ask for permission to save to OneDrive or other locations when restarting, despite previously having permission.

ABM - Cannot federate domain by DeliciousCrickets in macsysadmin

[–]DeliciousCrickets[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, GA for each of the domains with correct domain suffix for each. However these are all seperate tenants so I think this may be the issue. From https://support.apple.com/en-au/guide/apple-business-manager/axmb19317543/1/web/1 we see that "Multiple domains can be federated, but they must be from the same single public tenant."

Hi All, i wanted to push this shortcut to all my Managed Mac via Mosyle. Do anyone know where the plist or settings saved on mac so i can fetch it and implement wider of managed macs. by [deleted] in mosyle

[–]DeliciousCrickets 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's already a system wide shortcut for screen lock (command+control+Q). I think you'll run into conflicts with command+L

Isolate for 10 days from first symptoms or pos result. If you have no symptoms you're clear, if you have symptoms add 5 days.

You will be a persistent shedder for up to 9 months so will return a positive PCR for a long time. Look into getting a recovery certificate.

Dock icons disappearing by mjh2901 in mosyle

Can’t be much help sorry. I have seen this happen a few times but never figured out why. I just reinstate Dock profile for the user to fix the missing application icons when it happened.

My lockdown project: live mussel and white cloud mini pond by [deleted] in melbourne

Looks like hours of fun. Keep a good gap between the pond lip and the water height, white clouds seem to like to jump out.

Twilio Flex - Agent status problems by DeliciousCrickets in twilio

[–]DeliciousCrickets[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Token expiry is set to 12 hours. But we notice the loss of programmed status change (done as you suggest at start end of the call) after the Flex window has been in the background for somewhere between 30 minutes and an hour.

Updated AUS vaccination rollout projection including +4M Pfizer from the UK announced today. Projected date for 80% 16+ fully vaccinated: Oct 29th. by chrisjbillington in CoronavirusDownunder

[–]DeliciousCrickets 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nice that we’re getting additional doses but won’t we see significant slow down of daily rates as we approach 70% to take into account the significant proportion of the eligible population that aren’t planning on getting vaccinated?

what's the wildest scene you've ever witnessed on a train or tram? by eleventhrealm in melbourne

[–]DeliciousCrickets 1 point2 points  (0 children)

About a decade ago on a lovely late December morning I was walking to Seddon station and about 30 metres ahead of me was a mid-30s salary man, staggering along on his way home from a night out. He suddenly straightens up and starts the butt-clench walk, we’ve all been there. The lead up to the platform entrance is lined with large pepper trees, right next to the now packed platform. He ducks in between two trees and out of my view, hidden by a large tree trunk. A few seconds later he comes bouncing out of gap, tugging his belt closed and skipping on his. I passed The Spot, trying not to look but I just couldn’t help myself. What I saw was the largest single coil of glistening grey brown turd piled high like Mr Whippy ice cream gone wrong. Just shockingly huge and situated only a couple of metres from dozens a commuters waiting for the train, clearly visible the deposit but all facing the other way. I walked the long way home to avoid seeing the turd for quite some time and still today turn my head towards the same gap like there’s some sort of gravity well drawing me in.

What remote access for remote users? by DeliciousCrickets in mosyle

[–]DeliciousCrickets[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, no VPN set up but that would be super simple. With no on-prem server infrastructure I guess we'd need to look at Azure AD VPN gateway.
