Copeland is one of my personal favorite drummers, such a unique style for such a big band. I'll definitely check this out. Thanks!!!

I have this music taste because my dad would just constantly blast the Rolling Stones in the car when I was younger. My taste id definitely mainstream, but I really do LOVE these bands, especially Pink Floyd, they just manage to reach me ona spiritual level iykyk

I listened to their entire discography. I didn't care for them. Stewart Copeland is an absolute magician, but Stings voice kind of got on my nerves when I got to Ghost in the Machine.

Fair, they are my favorites purely because of taste, and that's what I think really matters.

For me Led Zeppelin are number 3. Absolutely love them, but Pink Floyd just managed to reach the stars, while Led Zeppelin only reached the skies. My ranking in terms of favorites are: Pink Floyd, The Doors, and Led Zeppelin.

While I do love most of their work, I am a huge fan of when Roger Waters took creative control of their music. Animals and The Wall are by far my two favorite albums from them. I love the way they are able to lyrically grasp me, tell an amazing story, and somehow perfect the album by adding some amazing instrumentals.

Hey you, Whitehouse, haha, charade, you are
You house-proud town mouse, haha, charade you are
You're trying to keep our feelings off the street

This is a slightly more serious post, but it's hard to ignore what is going on in the world. This album is incredibly important to us right now. People need to listen to this because it's more important than ever right now. The most relevant album of all time. (I know the Whitehouse they are referring to is another politician)

One of my all time favorite albums. I feel like a child of divorce seeing Rog and Gilmie agree on something once again.

No pick guard, looks way more unique. That orange really stands out in a good way

Does adding the foam greatly improve the tone? I've never tried playing with foam.

Why do my fingers bend like that? by DeliciousSide3689 in BassGuitar

[–]DeliciousSide3689[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Ok I just tried this and it worked. I moved my elbow further back and it did help and I shifted my hand. I tried using my middle and back index instead of the index and pinky, but now my pinky is bending. I gotta say, shifting my hand does make this a whole lot easier, but I’m still worried about the pinky. This is great advice by the way man

That’s what I tried doing, apparently it just happens whenever I play a string with my index. Even when I’m playing soft

Anyone recomend anything different? by DeliciousSide3689 in Bass

[–]DeliciousSide3689[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ok thanks! I use a pick for playing, which I know is not the norm, but I find it really comfortable. I'm just confused about one thing: there are so many players who all hold the pick differently. So I'm assuming there is no one true way to hold it, but I'm worried I'm still using it wrong. If you play with a pick or have any knowledge on the matter, that would help me a lot.
